Absolutely disgusting hovel...cold dirty and noisy..only good thing was it's close to Manchester arena but for £78 without breakfast it was shocking I wouldn't put my dog in it and the pub was scruffy too.. AVOID AVOID!!!!!

.. at least when compared with the other student bars. Nice interior which spits into a small, narrow vault and a large open-plan main room; good range of beers and ciders; have to admit that the gents does smell but hey ho..;

Very dirty, walls was full of mould and the wall paper was hanging off. Was very expensive for what it was!! Stay away. "En suite" was a shower in the middle of the room and it was a family room.. No privacy. 1 towel per stay. Tried to give me invoice for the stay with £180 worth of pepsie receipt

I wanted to stay one more night in Manchester to hangout with my friend and this place was within my budget. I am glad I decided to stay here, the pub was local and cheap. The staff were friendly. The area reminded me of early Brooklyn, while Manchester reminds me of today's Brooklyn. It is a short walk to the...

This is a great local pub with a cranking atmosphere, always a warm welcome from the bar staff and owners Ken and Chris. Great selection of ales and lagers, food is great and also excellent value ( 50% off Jan ).

Payed £90 for 1 night, the room was filthy, the beds were just built with wood with a mattress put on top, window was broken, the shower was that dirty I used baby wipes instead, price stated bed only but you could habve a breakfast but the place was still shut with no member of staff available at 10am had...

I only stayed one night at the hotel and arrived late so didn't get to sample much. I had the private room at the very top of the hotel and once you navigate the rather confusing lay out, the room is very nice with a private shower, decent sized bed and TV. I arrived pretty late on the Wednesday so...

We called in for a drink on Saturday, noticed they did food and with just 15minutes before the kitchen closed decided to order pulled pork sandwiches. It came on a brioche bun and real chips.. At £5.95 well worth offering. They have a good selection of beers so will be returning again.

Let me start this review by saying these comments are purely about the pub and not the hotel side, as the hotel side doesn't make for good reading! The Arms is simply, one of my Manchester favourites. Always welcoming and a proper cosy local. 2-4-1 pints on Friday night on the Salford Arms lager and a juke box to take...

Been there for three nights. The moment you enter the pub, there's a intense smell of urine right in front of the bar. We had to wait more than two hours to get to our room, as it wasn't ready at 2pm (check-in time as they told me). We got a complimentary pint because of the waiting, but no sorry...
