I had a wonderful stay at The B Hive Inn! From the moment you walk in, everyone is so friendly and sweet! I was actually sad to leave because I met some pretty awesome people here! The bedroom was clean, bed was comfy, bathroom clean, drinks downstairs are good, and location is close to everything you need! I will definitely be coming back to The B Hive Inn! Thank you Roland, Allen, and the rest of the staff for an excellent stay! - Chelsea from Texas
You get what you pay for, but we paid for breakfast and didn't get it! The place is disgusting, in the middle of nothing and difficult to get to. We parked at a secure car park and glad we did as I wouldn't park near the pub. Staff not friendly, no-one around at breakfast and looking in the kitchen window we probably got lucky looking at the state of it. The room was ok but the shared bathroom hadn't been cleaned for some time.
We stayed for a couple of nights recently. Pluses: The room was clean, as was the (shared) bathroom. Bedding immaculate. Fridge in the room was a real bonus. TV and free wifi. Kettle etc. The room was right above the bar but the noise levels weren't bad and new earplugs are provided, as well as toiletries. Staff are attentive and really friendly. This really is the 'community pub' it claims to be, and proudly so. Think a Mancunian Queen Vic. Locals came for a chat, and selfies with hubs' 3-foot long dreads. There are some takeaway menus in the rooms and the staff were happy to provide plates and cutlery, if you don't want to eat from their menu. We ate in the beer garden. Breakfast can be ordered the night before, from £2.50. Not so great: the decor is a little tired. There was a security camera opposite the bedroom window, couldn't be sure of our privacy so kept the curtains closed. If you like to be in bed before 11.30 or 12pm, you might be bothered by the noise. (We weren't). The mattress needs replacing on the double bed, but manager was pleased we spoke to him and plans to replace it soon. The 'B'Hive is located in an industrial area so the views are a bit grim. Parking is on-street but there are security cameras. It's close to a bus route straight into the city, and not too far from the railway station. Good value for money.…
Wanted a cheap hotel, near Manchester Airport and ended up here. Not the kind of place I would take my family, but friendly staff and clientele. I should have read the reviews as I was surprised to find a shared bathroom and could hear the other guests using it during the night. Pub appears to be on an industrial estate with on road parking.
Stayed over in Salford after a United match - this was a last minute find and what a find. Staff were so welcoming, locals were great fun, beer was cracking and only £2 a pint! Had a top night and the rooms were perfectly fine. Shared bathroom wasn’t a problem at all either. Would defo stay again.
