We really like Village hotels and we have been to a number of them. They are generally located out of town, but everything you need for a pleasant stay is on site. We went to Hyde because we had to pick up our son from Manchester airport on Sunday evening so went on Saturday morning and had almost two full...

Facilities was great. Free parking, nice lobby area, clean room. Great pool, sauna and gym included in rate. Room was way too hot on a moderately warm day. No aircon and window does not open. Had a good swim and relaxing weekend

So called Spa weekend wasn't what I expected at all. We arrived to check in and after 2 minutes at reception we were done. No nice welcome, no info where swimming pool or spa was. No info whatsoever. We went to the room, it was very hot but the window was secured with wire, so couldn't open more that 20cm....

Hotel staff friendly but very outdated accommodation. Family rooms small and very hot with no air con. Very expensive drinks especially with a large group. Good food. I haven't stay at the Hyde village for several years and was very shocked at the change. This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. I love the village hotels...

This was our first visit to this particular Village hotel, although we've stayed in several others before, including Ashton. We really enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with the hotel, which we thought had a lot of character and felt comfortable. The only little criticism would be the size of the bathroom, which may have benefitted from a walk-in...

Hotel, staff, leisure facilities and pub were very good but unfortunately our experience of a "superb upgraded room" was very disappointing. Room temperature was unbearable, the fan that had been placed in the room to try and cool it down was broken, the coffee machine was broken, the TV was not working properly either. These upgraded rooms were also meant...

It's the first time I've tried this hotel out as I usually choose one closer to the office. Rooms are clean and tidy, receptionist very friendly and facilities very good. Tried out the pub food and the burger surpassed my expectations, not overlooked, and full of flavour at a very reasonable price. This hotel has to be considered even if...

We have stayed here twice now whilst visiting family in the nearby area. The hotel is well equipped with a gym and spa and nice pool which is child friendly. The restaurant serves a very decent breakfast and the evening meals are very good too. The hotel bar is very friendly and serves food also. All the staff in this...

We stayed for night and price included breakfast. Both were good but I thought it cost was on high side. Service was very good and we dined in their pub. Food was good and good service again. They do have a very good leisure facilities including indoor heated pool that we didn't use.
