This was just a 1 night stopover hotel on our way north and we are glad it was just for the one night! Weird smelling room, sticky bathroom floor and what seemed to be the smallest double bed with a duvet that hardly fit over the bed! I think next time we would just spend the extra for a nicer hotel and for breakfast to be onsite, rather than at the services nearby. Was cheap but not cheerful!!

We booked in very cold weather...but found the hotel lovely and warm. Hotel is clean, rooms clean, bathroom clean, towels perfect. Large bedroom good quality deep mattress. No complaints at all. Will certainly re book for next visit to see our family. Good range of eateries a few mins walk. Only downside is we got there late at night very dark and our sat nav sent us to a small lane with 2 large No Entry signs. Had to go to local village to be told to ignore the no entry sign and drive through sure enough the hotel was down the lane on the left.

Absolutely love this hotel!! I stay here regularly for work and it’s the best hotel in the area! The staff are so lovely and very funny. I make use of the microwave every stay so I don’t rely on Burger King for tea. The staff make this hotel what it is!

Stayed for a wedding as it was close by. Lovely hotel. Receptionist was so nice and helpful both checking in and the other when checking out. Much quieter than we thought it would be by the motorway. Maybe needs a bit of updating but we would stay again for sure!

Stayed one night. Room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is at a service station so ideal for breaking a long journey. Location and room were quiet, despite being next to the M5.

Great location for The Ancient Ram Inn paranormal investigations as it’s a short drive away. Plus there’s places to eat as part of the michaelwood services which you can get to on foot from the accommodation.

Very reasonably priced indeed. Much nicer than I imagined. Staff were brilliant and so welcoming. Young front desk girls were very bright in the mornings so that was a good start to my day! Room was very comfortable and clean. Found my new regular hotel for working in the area! Thanks Days Inn!
