I've stayed many times in a Ground Floor Room...brilliant and in a quiet courtyard with same level parking. But this time the only option was a Hill House Suite which is bliss. Bliss with stairs and facing the road but a quite different almost opulent style. So far so good.

The room was nice with a large comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities and convenient parking. However, only the continental breakfast is included, you are charged extra for the hot items (the scrambled egg and salmon was poor). This is written in small print on the menu but is easy to miss, the staff don't warn you and you will discover...

We stayed in I think it was called the high school suite and oh my lord, it was stunning! Pure luxury for the evening. The room is lovely and clean and we had champagne and fruits on arrival as it was for our wedding night so they added extra touches which made it even more special.

Good menu, good surroundings, good service. Live locally to The Bell but this particular Saturday lunch was really great. I had pork and my husband had beef - everything was piping hot and the staff very attentive.

We stayed at the Bell Inn after a friend's wedding and I would highly recommend the hotel to all. The room was finished to a very high quality with plenty of space. Situated along the road from the main hotel building but next to the breakfast dinning room so not really an issue, and the breakfast itself was excellent, very...

A lovely little find, used by us predominantly on business but fortunate enough to do so personally. Good is great, a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Great wine too! Will be returning in the summer to sit outside!!
