My wife and I and our youngest Son visited Marygreen Manor for lunch on Sunday, July 10th. Should have been four of us but our Son's girlfriend was laid up with a chest infection. The lat time we had visited the venue was some 36 years ago when we hosted our eldest Son's Christening Party there. We only live a...

We stayed here for two nights in a lovely suite. The staff were really helpful and eager to take our bags and get us a drink. The room itself was huge, the decor is a little old fashioned, but this fits with the fact it is a Tudor building. We sat in the gardens and had a drink, before heading...

This is a charming hotel with comfortable accommodation and friendly staff. The room was well equipped except the pillows were very tired and lumpy (should have taken our own!). There is little 'lounge' room and we had to watch the football at the breakfast table as the TV was, oddly, placed in a corner of the dining area. The biggest...

Wonderful place, we fell in love with it immediately. Our room, no. 45, was lovely and we really enjoyed it. The room, bathroom and the other facilities clean and nice. The wonderful garden (the weather was perfect) in the morning and afternoon was a bless. The staff was service minded and very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast a lot. We will...

I stayed for 2 evenings for business purposes and was here with a group of people. The hotel was recommended to me by a colleague. The gardens and overall surroundings are very pretty and whilst the bedrooms are probably ready for a lick of paint they were spacious, very clean and comfortable. We ate from the bar menu one evening...

Tudor hotel in TOWIE country. Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and hotel clean. I had room 2. It was also nice and clean. Massive bed, which was really comfortable. Best nights sleep I've had in a long while at a hotel! There was water and fruit available and good quality coffee bags instead of instant plus shortbread biscuits. Heaven! There...

Lovely pleasant hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very cosy, and they were clean and tidy. Not to far from the town centre which was good as we wanted to explore Essex. Breakfast was lovely, cooked breakfast and also help yourself to juices etc.

Had a really nice meal here on Saturday evening. In fact the fillet of beef was one of the finest that I have ever had. Waiting staff were all very polite and pleasant. However, there was a wedding on the same evening so service was quite slow. The worst point however, were the drunken idiots milling around the place. Would...

We thank you for taking the time to review your dinning experience at the Tudor restaurant. I could not agree more that our Fillet of Beef is one of the finest things life has to offer. A lovely old manor house with a real history, catering was of a good standard, it has a split use with either just dining, staying in one of the courtyard rooms or conferencing, and is also popular for weddings, so it is worth bearing in mind that with all the numerous activities, that if intending just to stay, then it...
