The only thing I can say is 'wow' superb place to stay, great food and very welcoming people landlord was very welcoming and my suite was seriously comfy especially the bed, lovely bathroom too. Highly recommended as it is next to the castle and Roman walls

Lovely hotel. Stayed here as we were visiting family in nearby Pevensey Bay. Located right opposite the old Roman and Norman castle. Only a couple of kilometres from the beach. Great starting point to explore the old battle sites. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were quite spacious with a wonderful view over the gardens. Restaurant was quite pleasant.

Cannot fault any of the facilities. 17th century inn and only a few suites (not rooms). The staff were exemplary. Stayed with 9-year old granddaughter and she thought it was great. Just across the road from pevensey castle. Would recommend.

We were very lucky to get the last room in this pretty little hotel, as we had decided the hotel we had booked was not for us! This hotel certainly was what we were looking for: comfortable suite, immaculately clean and decorated, excellent full English and friendly staff, overlooking the almost 2,000 year old castle. Very good indeed.

We stayed here at the weekend to attend my brothers wedding which was also held in the Hotel. We had a fantastic suite which comprised a lounge, bathroom and bedroom. All were very well appointed and the walk in shower was excellent. Importantly the bed was comfortable leading to a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very good and there was... More

We are local to the hotel so didn't stay but were there for dinner. The starters all sounded appetising but the choice of mains was disappointing and charging £27 for a 6oz fillet steak is outrageous by any standards. The food turned out to be very average. The two waiting staff were friendly and pleasant but clearly untrained and presumably... More

My friend got married at the Priory Court Hotel today. She and I stayed at the hotel last night. The suite was really lovely and the evening meal we had last night was delicious. Vicky and Peter and all their staff were so friendly and did everything they could to make the day run smoothly. The service was great and... More

My support worker and I visited here for lunch, after visiting Pevensey Castle, it is a lovely little hotel with a tearoom attached, definitely well worth a visit it is very close to the castle and beach, and the car park for the whole day is very cheap. I would definitely come here again, and recommend it to others

Quaint little tea rooms attached to hotel . Five pounds for a cream tea which seems fair until you receive it. Small glass jam pot filled with cheap jam no fruit, pot of roddas cream . Scones were fresh but the smallest I have seen for a cream tea had had to order another two so cost 16 pound in... More

My daughter bought me a voucher for Father's Day for the priory court. My partner had two lots of teaching horse riding during the day and said could we eat out as she was tired.
