It’s some time since I’ve stayed here – because in the past I’d found the hotel tired, drab and unwelcoming. But I’m pleased to say that it has changed significantly for the better! My room had clearly recently been refurbished and so was well furnished with a fully tiled smart bathroom. On this occasion I was travelling alone but was...

Just come back from a two day golfing break. We stayed one night at the Cooden Beach Hotel. From the outside the hotel looked very impressive. At the reception the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the shared room I was allocated was very clean and well equipped. Our evening meal in the Brasserie was excellent like the service....

Stopped off for an evening meal at the relatively newly created Brassery. Having been to the old restaurant and bar many times I was familiar with the place. Walking in for the first time since the Brassery opened was certainly a bit of a "wow" experience. Large, light and airy with large feature windows overlooking the beach and gardens. Nice...

I had a special occasion dinner for our daughter and 35 family and friends on Sunday 7th of May 2017. The care and attention to detail taken with our celebration including the service and the preparation of the function room exceeded our expectations. The food for both adults and children was delicious as always. Thanks so much Debbie, Walter and...

All the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, and the hotel including food and facilities, was superb. We had a lovely long weekend, along with our furry friends, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. I understand that some of the bedrooms are shortly to be upgraded which will be good as whilst it was adequate, it was a little...

Having heard good things about the new Brasserie on the beach, we decided to give it a try yesterday. The new restaurant has a light and airy feel and looks straight onto the beach. Service was excellent, André and the rest of the staff were polite helpful and attentive. Great menu, delicious food and a perfect setting, what more could...

Delicious food & very attentive staff. Andreu looked after us really well & was obviously a motivated member of staff! Really like the renovations, dining chairs are very comfy & the gin bar also sells a sparkling ginger drink which is very refreshing (I was driving!) Will eat there again.

We've just returned from two nights at Cooden Beach Hotel in a small, tired room overlooking the carpark and the staff smoking area which cost us £140 for each night. We had far higher expectations based on the price and the website. We ate in the restaurant - both basic fish and chips and a generous portion of fish on...

Dear Guest After looking at your recent reservation it appears you requested one of our 'Easy Access' rooms. We only have two twin rooms and two Double rooms which are 'Easy Access', these are located in the Seahouse and accessible via a ramp as opposed to stairs, to make it easier for guests in wheelchairs. The two Double rooms are...

After visiting the De La Warr Pavilion and finding Bexhill on Sea very uninteresting, this was a lovely find. A large building right on the sea front. Pebble beach but a nice garden to sit in and view the sea. Inside a lovely large open space. A large restaurant, specialist Gin bar, nice cosy corners for drinks or afternoon tea....

Dear Guest, Lovely to hear you enjoyed your recent visit to The Cooden Beach Hotel. Locals and visitors to the area all seem to be very happy with the recent refurbishments.
