The best ever B&B we have ever stayed in, we would actualy go out of our way to stay there again.Debbie & Eric were so welcoming kind & helpful, with out being intrusive. The Old Manse is a lovely house, wonderfully warm comfortable & spotlessly clean. Sadly we weren't there long enough to have an evening meal, as we were...

We have stayed a number of times and on each occassion have found every aspect of our stay to be excellent. Debbie & Eric always extend a very warm welcome and are willing to share their extensive local knowledge with us. The house is spotlessly clean throughout, the bedrooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished with large comfortable beds which...

We have recently returned from spending a week at this totally delightful guest house in the Bexhill area. We knew it would be something special because we had previously checked the reviewers comments on Tripadvisor but nothing could have prepared us for the sheer excellence of this gorgeous house. From the moment we arrived Debbie and Eric made us feel...

We needed to stay in Bexhill to attend a friend's 65th birthday lunch at the Cooden Beach Hotel. As soon as we saw the Old Manse website and photos of the room we knew this was for us and we were not disappointed. On arrival Debbie welcomed us and our friend, who had called in to see us in a...

I have stayed at the Old Manse many times this year and will be returning many more times. It is just perfect, wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms, and delicious food. Debbie and Eric make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. I travel a lot, staying in hotels and B&Bs all over the UK and I can say without...

Located in a quiet and pretty seaside town within short distance from nice places of interest (Rye, Battle, Beachy Head, etc.), the Old Manse provides first-class accommodation and service. We were especially touched by Mr & Mrs March's warm welcome, thoughtfulness, helpfulness and kindness. Highlights of our 5-day stay were the delicious breakfasts ( try the succulent lightly smoked salmon...

We have had a beach hut in Bexhill for the past five years. We love it there, when the sun shines there is no better place to be. Unfortunately, Bexhill is not well served for overnight accommodation and so we have usually opted to face the long journey home each day. However, last year we discovered The Old Manse which...

We stayed in the Old Manse B&B over Valentines weekend. Debbie and Eric are fantastics hosts, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service and warmth was exceptional. We were offered tea and cake on arrival. In our room there were chocolates, bottles of still & sparkling water, tea making facilities, bathrobes, brand new magazines. The...

As I am exploring Britain every year in summer I also see a lot of nice b&bs throughout the country. One of the most comfortable, friendly and nicest is "The Old Manse" in Bexhill-on-Sea. Not only is the family utterly helpful and makes you feel welcome from the first minute, but they are also wonderful cooks. The food is exceptional,...
