Had The Heritage (No 44) for 4 nights. The accommodation was the best yet compared to previous visits - 3/4/5 years ago. Family of 4 were able to meet other family members. The bed was the most comfortable I have experienced on this site, but can empathise with other comments as previous visits the mattresses were not great. The equipment...

Lovely location. Nice cabins. We had the one with a hot tub (very smelly) stagnant water and lots of chemicals. Beds were absolutely horrendous. Couldn't sleep for more than 5 minutes at a time without a spring poking you in the ribs, left a day early as we couldn't bare to stay in them beds for another night. They don't...

We attended a friends wedding in the house at Crowhurst and everything was so good. The venue itself was quite a trek but well worth it. The room used for the ceremony was nicely appointed with seating for all the guests, and the registrar was very good and put the happ couple at ease. Sit down meal after in the...

Wedding was great, very kind and helpful staff. Great food and beautiful grounds. Worked in lots of wedding venues but this one if the best run. All staff were very well informed about the day and nothing was to much trouble. Look forward to photographing a wedding there again soon.

We had a Minnesota lodge (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom) and it was disappointing to say the least. Our lodge was one that hadn't been updated in a long time. The kitchen didn't have nearly enough in it, only 5 knives but the lodge is meant to hold 6 people?? No spatula, annoying when trying to cook anything on the stove...

We just wanted a getaway for half term with our children aged 5 and 7. We had Virginia 2, which was a 2 bedroom pine lodge. It is getting a little tired now, with paint peeling and dated bathroom but that did not make a difference to the enjoyment of our stay. Most of the lodges that we saw seem...

The lodges are clean and nicely equipped and comfortable . If they had more cutlery and crockery then we'd use the dishwasher less ....

We have stayed at Crowhurst several times over the years while working in Hastings and it never fails to deliver. We stayed in two Nevada cabins which were very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and with a great little powershower. The only negative was that the cutlery, pots and pans could be improved as the knives were blunt and broken...

We stayed in one of the lodges in the victorian garden. It was lovely. We opted for the 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub which we all enjoyed. The lodge was clean and spacious and was definitely big enough for the six of us. The only downside to our stay was some noisy neighbours who decided to sit in their...
