Firstly I would like to say how much we were looking forward to returning to The Blyth, having stayed a couple of times 3-4 years ago. It is very well located in Southwold and you really don't need to get back in your car for a weekend away as you are just a short walk from the beach and centre of...

We have just returned from a 2 night break at the Blyth Hotel. It was to celebrate my birthday and the Blyth was a great choice by my girlfriend. Fabulous helpful and welcoming staff. Great location and great value for money. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will return to Southwold and when we do we will return to the...

We stayed here for a night in November. The hotel was clean and well appointed. The hotel had a car park out the back which was free to park in (which is a rarity in Southwold). The hotel is just slightly outside of the town centre, but considering how small Southwold is, it is still very close to the town...

The Blyth hotel sits in an unmissable position as you enter southwold and is great for getting about as sits on a 3 exit roundabout. All 3 exits offer walks that are distinctly different and opposite is a 4th walk on the old railway line going down to minsmere and walberswick. I found it quiet and peaceful in November and...

We stayed here just for 1 night but would definitely recommend staying longer. Ideal location very short walk to center of town. Room was excellent only downside is the TV not being high enough to be seen from bed. Would definitely recommend staying here good views, good location, good price and very good breakfast.

Great hotel - staff very friendly and helpful. We were surprised at how dog friendly this hotel is makes a refreshing change and enhanced our stay as we don't holiday without them. Room was large and bright although bathroom was narrow and toilet in a strange position!! Good choice for breakfast and dinner. Will definitely visit again.

Location good - all Southwold in walking distance. Staff really helpful and willing. But the building is definitely a bit tired - wiff of disinfectant on the stairs (not in the room) and our super king room had just one chair when there was clearly room for two along with a small table. The basin waste could only be opened...
