Very comfortable room with exposed beams. We booked all inclusive, dinner, bed and breakfast. The quality of the food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast - well worth it! We also found the hotel was making an effort to be sustainable with minimum plastic waste.

We were staying locally overnight and were looking for somewhere to eat and happened upon the crown. Nice welcome, good service, great food and ambiance. Would highly recommend a visit if your in the area.

Out of lockdown we needed a short break and Southwold seemed a good option with a great beach for walks and a nice character town to mooch around. The Crown hotel has a great location on the High Street with its own parking for guests. We couldn’t fault this hotel. We had a big comfortable room overlooking the High Street to watch the world go by. Really good menu for both breakfast and an evening meal. The staff are lovely and the service was bang on. We’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. You will not be disappointed.

If carlsberg done pork chops this would be it, absolutely delicious. And the sticky toffee pudding with apricots, I had to stop myself ordering another. Service was good as usual, the waiting staff are always very polite and helpful. Looking forward to returning after shutdown 2.
