Very good B&B, stayed for two nights. Clean and was made to feel very welcome by Pauline. Great breakfast and location with stunning views of the sea. Easy parking and free. Would recommend to anyone.

Three nights of B&B delight. Excellent standards in a well loved home just simply the best B&B you will ever find. Even the marmalade is of Mayoral quality served by Pauline and Nicola. Service with a smile that followed a fanfare welcome!

Pauline will just look after you - simple as that. This is a great bed and breakfast with real community feel as guests sit round a huge ornate table for breakfast. Really hope to get to stay here again. All the rooms are beautiful. The place is magnificently kept, and you just instantly feel welcome and at home. Want to... More

We stayed here for four nights in the Jewel room during the Latitude festival. The room itself is lovely - decent size with a comfortable four poster bed, ensuite bathroom and a big bay window with fabulous views of the sea. The place is nicely decorated and very well situated, right on the sea front a short stroll from both... More

A wonderful stay whilst attending the Latitude festival. Pauline and her staff were most welcoming, kind and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend as right on the sea front with easy parking and the pier and town just a short stroll away

We stayed in the Jewel Room. This is a really wonderful room with views right over the sea. We had the window open at night and the sound of the waves was magical. The only drawback is the bed is extremely (!) firm. I struggled to sleep because it was like hardboard on my back. The room is well decorated... More

This is a hard review to write. Without doubt the ensuite, top floor room we stayed in overlooking Southwold beach and pier was great, being large, light and airy with comfy double bed and large sofa. Excellent location too. However, when one pays £125 per night (minimum 2 nights) the quality should be top notch and the cleanliness pristine. Crimes... More

Warm welcome from Pauline, the owner. This is what you want from a B&B, lovely well maintained clean rooms and decors to relax, attentive service during a fantastic Full English breakfast or breakfast of your choice. You felt like you were sharing somebody's special place/home. We will be back!

We enjoyed a two night stay here and it certainly lives up to the many 'excellent' reviews! A fantastic location, a friendly welcome and a clean, comfortable room. We stayed in the Casino room at the back of the house which was very quiet, warm and cosy with plenty of space for the two of us. Breakfast here was also... More

My husband and I stayed in the Jewel room for 5 nights as a base for attending our nieces wedding. We arranged a slightly earlier check in time with Pauline and she was happy to oblige. She welcomed us and showed us to our room, explaining how everything worked. The room was comfortable, warm and lovely. We enjoyed staying there... More
