Jane was fantastic at getting in touch after my booking, sending full details and keeping me updated. A great location and friendly, personal service at this b and b and a big thank you to Jane for being so understanding regarding my arrival time and circumstances.
We are currently staying in the area for work and managed to get booked into Sizewell lodgings after the place we originally booked was terrible. I travel the country quite a bit for work and this is as good as a home from home gets at a very reasonable price. Great size bedrooms and spotless bathrooms and kitchen area. The kitchen has everything you need and makes a difference being able to cook properly instead of living off takeaways while working away. 5 mins drive from sizewell power station and Jane is brilliant to deal with, very friendly and accommodating. I will 100% be booking again on my next trip working here.
As the final part of our Suffolk getaway we came to Sizewell Lodgings. This is the best place I've ever stayed. It's very relaxed, with good quality tasteful furnishings and the staff are genuinely friendly. In addition, the guest house is extremely clean and there's parking. I loved the fact that I could go to the local supermarket, buy some decent wine at a good price and pop it in the fridge at Sizewell Lodgings rather than having to buy an overpriced bottle in a bar (which I've found is often the case at hotels and pubs). I also loved the fact that there were no rigid times for breakfast. This place is definitely a hidden gem!
I needed some 'me' time, took a few days off of work to pamper myself with the peace and quiet of Suffolk. Sizewell Lodgings surpassed all of my expectations, it's tucked away in a genuine quiet location teaming with regional culture. I was slightly hesitant at first about booking a room with a shared bathroom but I have to say that it was no problem at all, the bathroom was positioned near to my room. (In fact, I wasn't aware of anyone else actually using the same bathroom as me). I have rarely experienced hospitality as wonderful as this. An astonishing bonus of being able to use the guest house kitchen made this a relaxing 'home away from home' experience for me. One has found one's own 'little piece of Suffolk'.
