Had a lovely Sunday roast here. Homemade Yorkshire puds where great!! A proper traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings. Plenty on the plate. Desserts looked great, but I had no room left. My husband loved his. Staff were lovely & friendly. We will be returning

Have stayed here previous two years but fully booked this year. It has a small dining area, which is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, so we went for breakfast. Good choice and tasty. The waitress was a young daughter of about 7, who was helping her mum. Very efficient and also did a good and thorough job cleaning the...

Should have left at the front door ! It was so unkept outside the property, broken window and window boxes just very shabby. We were greeted by the owner and his dog, there were dog hairs on the carpet and a distinct smell of dog. The room was shabby and quite frankly dirty , there were pubic hairs in the...

Spent lovely night here. Sorry to find out it is closing as I wanted to book another stay. Twin room on ground floor was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good and hot when it arrived. A plentiful supply of cereal and toast. Thank you to Linda for a very warm welcome.

This is low cost accomodation, you don't pay a lot to stop here and you get a good breakfast, what you don't get is a good nights sleep - this is the worst mattress ive ever tried to sleep on, it was so bad I placed the pillows under the mattress for support. The room was warm, was equipped with...

First of all I should say that I generally like either modern or historical properties but we needed to stay somewhere to Fort Languard and this was perfectly suited as a location. When we arrived the door was already open due to a smoker outside and we then stood in a very cramped area wondering what to do. We knocked...

Nice place in a nice location, right near the beach. The staff were really friendly, chatty and helpful. The diner area where breakfast was served was nice, clean and airy. The breakfast was nice with lots of options, including for a veggie like me. The downside for me was the complete lack of sleep. The room was comfortable with a...

I just stayed for one night, which I feel very unlucky. This place had quite nice room facility and beautiful view from the window. On the top, breakfast was really satisfactory :) Linda and Clive are really warmhearted. I want to visit here again! Not a perfect modern guesthouse, but still worth my time and money.

This is a nice place to stay. Breakfast is lovely. Staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and quite well equipped. Tea and coffee and kettle in the rooms. Two downsides here though. No onsite parking, you may have to park a little way off, and we had to keep the window closed due to the noise outside....
