Have stayed here previous two years but fully booked this year. It has a small dining area, which is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, so we went for breakfast. Good choice and tasty. The waitress was a young daughter of about 7, who was helping her mum. Very efficient and also did a good and thorough job cleaning the outside tables!

Should have left at the front door ! It was so unkept outside the property, broken window and window boxes just very shabby. We were greeted by the owner and his dog, there were dog hairs on the carpet and a distinct smell of dog. The room was shabby and quite frankly dirty , there were pubic hairs in the sink and the shower was dirty we did'nt shower whilst there. Breakfast was ok but the owner refused to let us eat in peace and constantly bombarded us with questiones whilst also eat his breakfast on the table next to us! We will not be returning.

Spent lovely night here. Sorry to find out it is closing as I wanted to book another stay. Twin room on ground floor was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good and hot when it arrived. A plentiful supply of cereal and toast. Thank you to Linda for a very warm welcome.

This is low cost accomodation, you don't pay a lot to stop here and you get a good breakfast, what you don't get is a good nights sleep - this is the worst mattress ive ever tried to sleep on, it was so bad I placed the pillows under the mattress for support. The room was warm, was equipped with shower and wash basin, TV and facilities for making a hot drink, unfortunately it needs a bit of work for example it has double glazed windows but one was drafty the other wouldn't shut, the walls allow you to hear your neighbours TV playing, I was unlucky enough to have a neighbour who left the telly on all night. Overall impression? I shrugged my shoulders and said well at £35 per night what can you expect. For the owners i'd be concerned around the corner the Premier Inn is being built, for £20-£30 a night more there will be a lot higher standard.
