Stayed at the Horse and Groom for one night, Trudi was very helpful on the phone when booking. I was just looking for a simple B&B close to the centre, this fitted the bill, the room was clean and the breakfast was the best I have had for a long while. The only problem was they do not cook on...

Lady who welcomed us was very friendly. Although room quite small and basic, it was sufficient for our needs as we were visiting friends and only needed somewhere to lay our head. Bathroom looked as if it had been recently fitted out. Kettle, coffee and tea provided. We didn’t have breakfast, so cannot comment on this. I know it is...

We were welcomed at very short notice, good clean rooms, comfy beds and a great freshly prepared cooked breakfast. Owners had local knowledge and were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again. No lift so anyone who has problems with stairs may struggle, layout like any character old property is up and down little steps and windy corridors.

We stayed here on business for one night. The room was clean, the bathroom small but ok. My main complaint with the room, no full length hanging space. The owners where catering for a wedding the weekend we stayed, and we were very much made to feel that we were in the way, and more of an inconvenience. Having said...

Visiting my dear Aunt in Swaffam and asked for best Sunday Lunch going, my Aunt recommended the Horse and Groom. The lunch was very tasty with very fresh vegetables and nicely cooked meats. A 2 course lunch and drinks for £30 in a lovely setting you could not ask for more, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

This coaching Inn was quaint and had historical charm all of its own. The room was clean, tidy and had good facilities within the room. The en suite was a little cramped but the nature of the old building had to be taken into account. As it was on a Friday night that I stayed , the pub was a...

Stayed here for an event being held at 'Stanleys' over the road. The owner has an interest in both. Good sized room ( I think we were in the largest No 8). Clean bedding & bathroom, tea & coffee facilities. Cereals available for breakfast, if you wanted a cooked one it needed to be ordered at an extra cost. If...

Food always great, service excellent, lovely, friendly staff. Sunday carvery our favourite and very reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed. You probably need to book though as its a local favourite.

This pub is very popular probably because the menu is competitively priced - Sunday carvery only £6.95. Choice of Beef or Pork (if you're cheeky maybe a slice of both) "well done" but it was towards the end of service and I suppose I should've expected the overdone veg. Being a carvery the portions were as generous as you wanted...

Stayed at the horse and groom for a few days whilst visiting relatives. The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean, with feather duvet and pillows, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a nice large shower. We were provided with a key so we could come and go as we please. The hotel...
