Visited to be able to access the Poppy line easily and it was an ideal choice.The heritage railway is almost on the doorstep. Clean, tidy room with expected facilities. Nice breakfast and excellent hosts in Ros and Graham. Didn't use their bar or snacks this...More

Went for Forties weekend and once again made to feel very welcome by Ros and Graham. Very clean and comfortable room and atmosphere in bar area very friendly with Graham as mine host. Breakfast was very nice and filling. Had bar snacks in the evening...More
Stayed once again at the Bayleaf with the lovely Graham and Ros. Warm welcome as ever and really good food. Would recommend the bar snacks, although they were generous enough to qualify as evening meals in my opinion. The ground floor room was handy too....More
In many ways the Bayleaf is a fairly unremarkable B&B. It's a bit old-fashioned (they ring a bell for breakfast) and the rooms are not particularly modern in decor or facilities.
