We decided to celebrate my husband's birthday with an overnight stay at Morston hall on one of their "Dine and Dream" promotions celebrating 25 years at Morston Hall. Our room - Felbrigg, was lovely, with views over the front and side gardens, and a tiny balcony with seats ( too chilly to try out on this occasion! ). As usual,...

My mum and I went for an afternoon tea ,on a cold wet afternoon. It was quite hard to find even with SAT nav but we'll with it. We were late. I hate being late. We were assured that was no trouble and treated like special guests. Our waiter was very attentive , friendly, and also treated us as if we...

This place has been on the 'to do' list awhile, so was delighted to be able to stay here. Was good to get dressed up for drinks and canapes before sitting down to a 7 course taster menu. Very nice waiting staff and who we presumed to be, restaurant manager. Nothing was too much trouble .Food was beautifully presented and...

If, like me, you study the reviews on Tripadvisor of Morston Hall, you'll get a pretty good understanding of how excellent the hotel is. It does, of course, come at a price but if you want to treat yourself and "push the boat out" this ticks all the boxes. The staff are affable and approachable and lack the pretension that...

The rooms are the best equipped rooms I think I've ever stayed in. Even down to hot water bottles, we didn't need them however as the...

My wife and I travel widely - family in 5 countries and speaking engagements. How do you compare a quiet Norfolk coastal retreat with a holiday hotel in southern Asia? - you don't! Morston Hall is an hour or so from our home, and we believe there is nowhere quite like it. Why? The staff are magic, combining polite professionalism...

We stayed at Morston Hall the night after Valentine's Day! Always a better bet. This was our first visit, our room was delightful with every comfort and cosy with it.Drinks at 7.15 a perfect Hendricks Gin and Tonic served. Gorton Blackiston our Michelin Chef greeted us all and promised us a taster menu to remember. The dining room was very comfortable...

Food was sublime, loved it all and staff friendly and informative. Thoroughly recommend. Hope to return. Canapés through to chocolates with coffee all great and unusual. Veloute really lovely, mackerel with beetroot tastier than expected. Roast lamb with vegetable super and chocolate dessert extraordinary.
