Excellent stay. Staff were just so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room 4 in the historic part of the hotel really good. Group of 18 of us, dined both nights and food was excellent and a good choice. A really relaxing stay. Great place.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating here. We were welcomed warmly and our room was clean and tidy. The furnishings- namely the carpets- are a bit dated, but in keeping with the style of this historic building. There are a few bits that could really enhance the quality of this hotel such as providing guest slippers or cleaning the...

We stayed here as a group of four and also brought our dog along after calling ahead and being informed they were a dog friendly hotel (there is a £10 charge which we were happy to pay). The grounds of the hotel are lovely- the Immediate Reception Area is a bit drab but the rest of the hotel is fine- we...

We stayed in the hotel for one night and I have to say, although the hotel is very old, it doesn't seem run down at all! The room was beautiful and cosy, with a huge and comfortable bed. We didn't eat at the restaurant - I'm a very fussy eater and didn't think there was much option for fussy eaters!!...

What a setting, in its own grounds plenty of lovely scenery. A good welcome in checking in, lovely clean room, a lovely seating area in the bar, staff I must say spot on, very polite and plenty of them. Our dinner I must say was 10/10 could not fault it. Salmon fishcakes followed by Pork & Garlic Potato, kale, &...

Stayed here for the 3rd time, with the last visit being excellent. Unfortunately not so good this time. Stayed in room 203 and had to listen to thumping noises all night, possibly from a generator? Also the house keeping talking and shouting outside our door from 8am. Wasn't the best nights sleep, told reception upon leaving, they did apologise but...

This is my second visit after a relatively disappointing stay last year. My partner and I found a really good Dinner, Bed & Breakfast deal and decided to try again. Fortunately the second time around was much better. The grounds are still well maintained and really add to the grandeur when arriving. Again there was a small que at check...

Stayed for one night after dropping my daughter off at Durham University. Nice place in pleasant grounds with a pool to use if you want. Food in restaurant very good only gripe was our room was near the pool and smelled a bit damp.

A group (20) of us have just stayed for 2 nights, had a great time, facilities, bedroom and food were great but most of all the staff were friendly, efficient and best of all happy, which made such a difference. We will be back.

Came in a group of 10 for a night which cost £800 for all of us. We payed extra to hire out a robe and slippers, when we arrived in the rooms we had no slippers so after 3 phone calls to reception they told us they had no slippers for us as they had gave them to a cricket...

Vince J, General Manager at Redworth Hall Hotel, responded to this review

Dear chloemartinnnx, I'm sorry that we had not received our order of slippers so could not provide them to your group. Our supplier incorrectly delivered them elsewhere and we reacted by refunding the robe and slipper hire cost you'd paid, accepting it wasn't ideal. Your visit also coincided with the pool closure which lasted for 5 hours and is really...
