Chateau de Siran is ideal for couples or a small group of friends to stay. Large comfortable rooms, many with balconies. A swimming pool and gardens make it ideal after a walk through the vines in the Minervois region. The host is a great Chef and the food is very good modern French.

This hotel is superlative on all counts. The premises have been beautifully restored, whilst keeping the character and ambience of it's age. It is set in quiet surroundings, run by a husband and wife. It only has 12 bedrooms, it's own small pool and ample space for dining both inside and outside. The bedrooms have wonderful furnishings, each one different,...

My husband and I stayed at chateau de Siran for 3 nights. The whole place needs some tlc - although clean ( mostly) it just felt unloved. The staff were pleasant enough but We were really disappointed with the standard of accommodation as it's not cheap to stay here. The best thing about this place was the evening meal -...

We were personally received by the owner of the Chateau - a very nice and kind man. The service was impressive throughout the whole visit. Chateau de Siran is a cosy and exclusive Chateau. First and foremost, a lot of value for the money. 5 out of 5.

We ate at the restaurant where we were told what was on the menu ....there wasn't any choice it was effectively you got what they cooked. What was cooked was...

Lovely air conditioned room, very nice little swimming pool. Warm welcome as before by a host who speaks good English but will nevertheless put up with my French. Food excellent - no choice at dinner, but every dish from starter to dessert was simple, elegant and delicious. Good selection at breakfast.

Warm greeting, lovely room, excellent service, and dinner was superb! Siran is a charming little town surrounded by vineyards. Gerard is the owner of Chateau de Siran, as well as the concierge, bartender, sommelier, and waiter, all done with elan. Dinner, prepared by his wife, was unforgettable. The wine list was outstanding. Two unforgettable nights at Chateau de Siran.

The hotel part of the chateau is very good. The old chateau has been renovated with lots of taste. The junior suite was very spacious and had a nice view. Unfortunatelly the restaurant is the opposite, I would not recommend it

Location is a little too far from big city, but the décor is awesome. very old construction it's been modified to transform in an inviting hotel with character. The reception is very special and different from regular hotel. You feel like a special guest when you're given a tour and information about the building. it is very clean and peaceful.
