I stayed with my family for 3 days. The overall experience was excellent. The location is bang in the heart of the city i.e. Police Bazaar which is a hub for tourists, restaurants and shopping. The breakfast that was being served changed on a daily basis and was delicious. And the service just could not get better.

The hotel is situated at the center of Shillong city. It is surrounded by the main city bazaar and the place has a huge amount of traffic and crowd during the day. Once the market starts closing towards the evening, small roadside stalls come up and people from across town come here for street food, so you always have people...

This hotel is right in the center of Shillong and comes with a free 24 hr manned parking. They even washed our dirty/muddy car which was quite a nice gesture The rooms were spacious and we had a great view from the rooms. The reception was excellent and helped us with all our questions. The breakfast was good and there...

We were a family group and stayed there for 3 nights. The location is in the middle of the bazaar and can get noisy from 8.00 am upto 9.00 pm. If you are on the move during day then the bazaar will not be a problem since things quieten down by night. The hotel is nice and cozy with spacious...

And ridiculous as it may sound, the Bar, on the 6th floor, doesn't serve Indian Food !!! So, I had my Rum ( it was 12* C in Shillong)...

Want to stay in the heart of Shillong? Want to feel the pulse of the locals? Want a very hospitable staff and service? Like good food (a tad expensive, though) ? Centre Point will fulfill your requirements. But it is not a quiet sort of hotel to take long walks. The bathrooms do not have a tub, and a curtain...

None of my room requests were honored - I booked a double bed but was told only single beds were available which are too small for me. No non-smoking rooms! Reception not friendly. Female manager at breakfast not friendly - not a word or a smile for 4 mornings! Waiters at breakfast were nice - one even remembered my room...
