It was a very nice stay and the ambience is excellent. Staffs are very well behaved. Place is very cosy and comfortable. The hotel is well decorated with antique furniture and wooden flooring. It provides free wi-fi and free breakfast. Foods are also very homely, but you have to order 2-3 hours before

For me a trip to Shillong is incomplete if I do not get to stay in the Habitat Shillong. This place is quaint, earthy, and exudes warmth. Done up tastefully with personal attention of Ms. Shabari on every small detail makes this place a refreshing retreat in the beautiful city of shillong. One can spend time relaxing and reading in...

A hidden gem in the heart of bustling Laimukhra area. The pristine and calm premises, with wooden floors, antique furniture and decor, tastefully appointed library immediately makes you smile. Fantastic service with a smile, the staff are well trained, courteous and very helpful. Meals are well prepared and well served - fare is simple and wholesome. Overall a fantastic experience....

The Habitat, a boutique guesthouse for the Asian Confluence cultural Office in Shillong is centrally located near the bustling Laitmukhra Bazaar. Its surprisingly quiet & peaceful once inside the property. The deluxe rooms are well decorated but slightly small. Loved the decor: wooden and well decorated with artifacts. Vintage beds and Almiras adorn the rooms. For those who love books,...

Simply very good. We stayed here for 3-nights on an official team meeting visit during Jan 2017. Small, yet an excellent property hidden from the crowded market areas of the city. Rooms were excellent, with very decent service. Food was quite good but one needs to place orders well in advance. A little more variety in breakfast menu could be...

Great rooms with wooden flooring. Very Zen like decor especially the garden outside the breakfast area. Adequate breakfast. Very close to the Don Black complex. Wards lake can be reached in 20 minutes walk via Jacobs ladder shortcut. Cafe Shillong with amazing live music on weekends just 100 M away.

This a cozy mini hotel located just behind the main road of Laitumkhrah. Though the approach is a dark and narrow lane, its absolutely safe. Its walking distance from several eating joints like Cafe Shillong, Dejavu etc. The hotel decor is beautiful with a lot of wood work and beautiful paintings of Buddha. They have a lovely little garden which...

Highly recommended if you want stay away from the over crowded Police Bazar area. Good location. Cafe Shillong and other famous eateries are literally at a walking distance. Market is walking distance as well. But wherever you go, please come back by 9 pm (as the hotel is situated in a bylane.) Although we never faced and problem as you...

I along with my husband stayed here during our trip to Shillong. Located in Laitumkrah, it is in a safe locality near the eateries and shops. The guesthouse is tastefully done.. very clean. Rooms are cozy with all the basic amenities. The heater helped a lot during the cold weather. Bathroom is clean too. Breakfast was basic but freshly served....
