Impeccable service and food at a truly splendid heritage property. An organic orchard with lots of fruit trees and vegetables and cereals grown on the property premises. The place is very quiet for Indian standards and on a clear day the mountain view is mind-blowing.

We spent a night at this hotel on our holiday along with friends. The Judge's Court Hotel is a family owned property owned by the Lal Family and restored to give one an experience of living in a countryside manor. The main buliding is set in the middle of an orchard, where the family grows a range of fruit from...

A beautifully restored family residence with lots of character. Beautiful grounds to wander in. Very laid back days of the Raj with tea and cucumber sandwiches on the Lawn. Wonderful hosts with good food in delightful dinning room. Heritage village a slight disappointment but still worth a stroll round. Many of the splendid buildings in a terrible state of repair,...

The heritage hotel is architecturally interesting. As said before the owners make the guests welcome, whilst some of the employed staff seem the think the guests are a bit of a bother and tell them where to sit and what to do. The gardens are lovely and it's nice that they have their own fruit and vegetables The set dinner...

We had an overnight stop here in a lovely room. The hosts were welcoming. The evening meal was lovely with local river fish and local produce used. Although there was no food available when we arrived at 2:30 we had an interesting walk round the local village.

Thank you for being with us and the kind words. We are a small Heritage Hotel in a village and do not have a 24 hour coffee shop. Kitchen closes for lunch at 14.30 hrs but a snack is available in the afternoon from a small menu. Perhaps this was not brought to your notice.

We really liked staying here, a heritage hotel. Very old but has a charm of it's own. The couple that run this hotel are lovely, they mix with the guests and are very interesting to talk to. There is a new part being built as they need more rooms and a larger dining hall which will make the hotel better...

We stayed for a night during a tour of north India. Another heritage hotel, so rooms can be a little random. Ours was in a separate building away from the main house, with a large, rather ornate entrance hall. The room was clean, the beds firm but comfortable and the heater and shower both worked, so fine for a night....

We spent two nights at Judges Court as part of our tour of Northern India. The sight of the grounds and hotel were a welcome sight following a two hour drive uphill from Jalandhar. Judges Court is an architectural gem and the owners have spent a lot of time and money renovating the property and at the time of writing,...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it is a lovely place to chill out. Afternoon tea with cucumber sandwiches is served at 4. The evening meal can be served in the lovely dining hall or outside, weather permitting. It isa set menu and very good value. The old town is a short walk away and we were...

A one night stay here, in transit to Dharamsala. Stayed in the annexe, which is the slightly more modern part. Nice spacious rooms, comfortable and well looked after. Good beds and nice bathroom. A small drinks party round an open-air fire brazier before dinner - VERY well priced beer & spirits! Excellent meal, freshly cooked, and a great demonstration by...
