Fabulous place to visit to relax and enjoy the views and sounds of nature. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. They offer a petting farm however due to the rain we only visited briefly. We hope to return.

We stayed at Heartland Country Resort for 3 nighs this past weekend and had a great experience. The cottage was very clean and the owners were very friendly and provided a incredible breakfast on Saturday morning - Fruit Salad, Quiche, French Toast, Bacon and Cheesy Potatoes - it was outstanding. We took in Amish country, picked apples at a local orchard and enjoyed the small nearby towns.

My Husband and I got one of these rooms during the Holiday weekend, my brother and his wife got another. After spending all day with family, it was amazing to start and end our day in this quite and comfortable environment. Started one morning petting and holding rabbits and meeting the other animals. Ending each day with a warm bath was the proverbial ‘icing on the cake’. By far the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Will always book here when I’m in town.

My teenage daughter and I spent a night at Heartland while touring colleges. What a special, magical place. The names of the cabins say it all. Laurie and Jim made us feel so welcome. Their love for this place is reflected everywhere - from their care of the animals, to the thoughtful and beautiful details in the cabins and surroundings. The animals are friendly and quite the characters. We hope to have the opportunity to visit again! I would highly recommend Heartland to families with children, as well as anyone else looking for a peaceful, harmonious getaway.
