I was attended by this girl Lya or Linda upon check in on April 14 at 20:30 hrs and she was the most unprofessional and unhelpful lady that I've had to deal with in my entire life. I feel really dissapointed that Sheraton has this kind of employees during pandemic when I'm 100% certain that out there should be people that might have lost their jobs and are more capable, profesional and educated than this lady is. DISSAPOINTED!
So my husband and I got a really good deal via Priceline for this hotel for 2 nights. We didn’t have any problems checking in, although later on the next day I found out from another staff member that the phones do not work in the hotel (there were flyers printed on the front desk and the attendant was concerned that the person checking us in didn’t tell us of this). Our king size bed had issues - my husband’s side of the bed was “broken” to where his head was lower than his feet. I was surprised to find out there was no housekeeping services (I guess if you want them you have to tell them). Our furnace though was a MAJOR issue. Saturday when we arrived it was 65° in the room and a bit chilly. We kept turning up the heat and it finally became warm. Sunday night again it was cold in the room and my husband cranked the heat to 72°. Which was fine....til about 2:00 am...when the furnace’s fan started to make the sound of a yeti... and kept me up all night until I finally turned the complete system off and froze the rest of the night. There were a couple of stains on the sheets. Be forewarned there is NO restaurant opened due to Covid and NO free parking (it’ll cost you $17/day). I stayed here a few years ago with no problems. The Starbucks in the lobby served me expired oatmeal. I didn’t bother to complain because I was already on my way out. There’s also homeless people that congregate in the Starbucks and the lobby. …
My wife and I stayed here for a Wednesday through Saturday visit. The staff I will say is all incredibly polite. Not one exception, everyone. Toilet paper delivery took way longer than expected. Place wasn’t completely clean. Club level was nice with food drinks etc. I mean some may say it should be less than 4 stars? Attitude of workers make me feel differently when they’re polite over things that can be fixed. Didn’t check out fitness facility. Street parking is normally open! Room service comes at different times it seems. Idk ok to me!
Hotel check in staff friendly. Room dark and shabby. Inadequate lighting. Bed has deep depression with stained, lumpy pillows. Asked for replacements and were sent more of same. Sink backs up. Bathroom supplied with only one bath towel. Broken floor molding. Just awful.
We had a check-in time for 4 pm, even called the day before requesting early check-in. My pregnant wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary only to wait for over 3 hours to check-in, around 7:50 pm. We had to cancel all of our dinner plans, got charged for canceling those plans due to no fault of our own. We also had no help with getting our bags to our room. We have been to other hotels in the Columbus area, this is by far the worst experience we've had and we do not ever plan to return. We would like to thank Sheraton Columbus for ruining our anniversary night.
