Make sure you sleep with a gun under your pillow, if you can stand the smell and are desperate enough to pay $80 for a total dump. Property and rooms in poor condition. Don’t know what kind of business they are running, and this should not be a Baymont. It does. It even meet the minimum standard for a hotel in my view. This was an extremely disappointing experience. Still hoping for a credit. We could not possibly stay and opted for a nearby Days Inn instead.
General Manager, Jacky Patel, greeted us during the infamous Texas ice storm, with a smile and a warm room. Roads were closing by the minute and we were hungry. Jacky arranged a hot meal to be delivered pronto. A lot of food, and the leftovers were eaten again on day 2 using the fridge and microwave in our room! Free breakfast for 2 mornings kept us going too. Jacky couldn’t leave for days because no one else could get there to relieve him. Thank you for all you did!
I recently stayed at this location. The check in girl was really nice. The room could use some work. The bed was ok. The check out girl was nice too. Got some laundry done & passed out. No big complaints.
I stayed here for one night. I wish it would let me post a video so you could hear the ac/heat unit squeaking and squealing. Sounds like a fire alarm going off in the bed next to you. I booked here because the pics make it look updated. Not my room. Old itchy bead spreads. Can’t even call it a blanket or comforter. You can see through the single panel curtain from both the inside and outside of the room. The window in the room next to me is busted out and taped up. I feel safe already. They couldn’t even bother to clean the room or at least close the curtain. I guess they figure why bother if you can see through it anyway. Old dirty bathtub lined with mold and mildew. But very friendly staff member that checked me in. This was after I waited for 15 mins while she and the guest before me talked about a previous guest that had been found deceased in his room the day before and the receptionist was too upset to talk to 911 so the housekeeper had to. No coffee pot. No ash tray in the smoking room. Called front desk to let them know and confirm that I had a smoking room. Receptionist just said yeah you’re fine. No offer of an ashtray. Did you want me to ash in the ripped up desk chair like it looks like everyone else did? No cable. Tv turns on. That’s all. No channels. I am learning quickly that Wyndham has very different standards (or a lack there of) than IHG properties! I could keep going, and probably should have... on down the road to Candlewood suites!…
****PLEASE READ**** DO NOT spend your money here! ! I repeat Do not spend your money here. Do yourself a favor and find another cheap hotel! the only thing I was proud about in this hotel is that I didn't get bitten by bedbugs! that's the only thing that this hotel has going for themselves. I had a pleasure of staying with them last weekend and my room key did not work the entire weekend. when I first checked in they had someone in my room they switch my room but that room wasn't clean then I finally got moved to another room where my key did not work the entire weekend. I constantly had to contact the security guard to make sure that my door was either locked properly or to get into my room. the ice machine never worked! Oh and the refrigerator? they didn't have one. I also had an fist punched bathroom door, no manager on duty on the weekends.. I was traveling all the way from Maryland. you couldn't pay me to stay here again😤😤😤…
