This Embassy Suite has a great set up. The bathroom is off the suite area. Using the bathroom doesn’t wake up my spouse. When I had to work this morning, I could go in the other room of the suite and get my work finished. All the equipment worked, and the breakfast had made-to-order omelets. It was great.
We had a group of 5 bicycle riders needing a place to spend a night while riding the Ohio to Erie Trail. There's an easy way to hop off the Alum Creek Trail near a small bridge and footpath, from where it's an easy ride to the hotel. This place was one of the real treats from our 6 days of cycling. Suites were clean, highly functional, and of course plenty large with the separate living room area where bikes could be kept nicely. Our room on the 8th (top) floor was extremely quiet as well. COVID protocol was generally well maintained, and the happy hour and cooked-to-order breakfasts were appreciated. At breakfast, I liked the common sense approach of self-serve coffee, juice, yogurt and muffins, complementing the hot food prepared to order behind glass and delivered in to-go containers which we could eat at a lobby table of our choosing. I would happily stay here again.…
The staff were amazing, helpful and willing to go the extra mile for guests. Their dedication to guests’ satisfaction is what turns this substandard Embassy Suites facility around. The facility is well used, lacking polish and a bit grimy. There seems to be quite a bit of one-night stays which keeps everyone hopping. The surrounding neighborhood has seen better days so don’t plan on an after dinner walk. Our room had been cleaned before we arrived, but it was not cleaned well. During the pandemic they recommended not cleaning our room while we stayed, to reduce contact. The front desk and housekeeping staff were happy to provide garbage bags, toiletries and other supplies as needed. When we arrived the windows were streaked with small handprints and we had to clean a sticky goo off of the bathroom door. Hilton should really give a lot of credit to staff like their bartender, chef and front desk staff. …
Hello, I know this is a challenging time for hotel staff. It is also challenging for us travelers. I was overall pleased with the hotel but it is a better choice for leisure travelers or families than for business travelers or singles. Mainly because of the pool situation. Families using the hotel for a much needed break results in too many dripping wet kids. Hilton has a corporate wide policy that all guests are to be in masks. There was no sign on the door and about 50% adherence among adults. I appreciate their effort at doing a hot boxed breakfast which was most than other hotels would try. Bar service was good. Overall good effort but policy compliance needs work. Also be aware they will try and put a "no parties" security deposit on your credit card unless you really stamp your feet and complain.…
I have stayed here twice last November then again in January both times were excellent I have been reading other people's reviews and it' seems some people just have to complain about everything it's a family friendly hotel and I have no complaints. All the women at the front desk were wonderful the bartender was wonderful and they are everywhere an employer he was I got a smile and a how are you doing don't pay any attention to the people talkin about dated rooms I thought the rooms were superb and I've been in many hotels in my life this is definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had it makes me want to look for Embassy Suites no matter where I'm traveling to good work Many thanks to everyone that made it a vf\ery fun break from the world.
