If you're looking for peace and privacy, this is the hotel for you! I was highly impressed with how well the layout of the room and hotel was. Breakfast was okay, but better than nothing. Extremely clean, no off smells, TV was on to greet us.
We are frequent users of Hampton Inns (Hilton Corporation) because of their COVID practices and they're just good places to stay. Learned that Hyatts and Hiltons use highly rated COVID practices (Wall Street Journal article) and so we thought we would give it a try. My perspective is meant for the management as much as other visitors. First, the staff was great in every respect. Very helpful and friendly and respectful of seniors. We are 71 and 75 but are fully mobile and fit and don't need handicapped facilities. The hotel had a beautiful lobby and the room was very large. BUT, there were no visible reminders of COVID procautions in the room, like our room didn't have the door sealed after the room was cleaned; the phone didn't look recently cleaned; there was no mention of whether the fridge was cleaned; no shield on the TV remote. Our bar sink didn't work - no running water. Our toilet was so low it was no where near the recommended chair height. The chair for the business desk was broken - someone had broken the adjustment for the back and it was all the way back, making it hard to use. The parking lot looked a little dodgy and when I asked if there were any recent car break-ins the staff said yes and said security was at our own risk and there weren't any external cameras. The mattresses were soft. The coffee in the lobby was great but the breakfast was very limited, even when compared to what other hotels offer during COVID. For example, the only healthy protein was milk and a prepackaged Bob Evans breakfast biscuit. All in all, the place wasn't great. With all the competition, I would not return.…
I rate the area and quality of the hotel quite high. Lots of good food and bars in the area. The pet fee was excessive ($75) considering our dog was very clean and well behaved. It also wasn't communicated until we checked out.
We needed to take a break from being in our home. This hotel gave us the opportunity to rest and feel comfortable. Clean everything, housekeeping stopped by to check on us Contactless check-in and -out. Miss having fresh food in my breakfast.
Hyatt places around the country are very standard, in a good way, you know what to expect. This hotel was nice and comfortable. Spacious. Due to Covid, very limited breakfast in a grab and go style. Overall a nice stay. Heat worked well, wifi was fast and reliable. Free parking. Room had a standup shower. Yes mini fridge, no microwave. No housekeeping.
