The room wasn’t cleaned and had issues like most hotel rooms that I’ve stayed at and the issues are that the bed wasn’t cleaned and still had stains and the coffee pot had stains and a dead spider and the fridge had ice left from previous guests and the bathroom shower wasn’t in the greatest shape. Overall i am definitely not going to be back here again.
I base a lot of my hotel stays on customer reviews, so I wanted to be sure I left a good review for this property. The room was plenty spacious, clean, and fairly updated. My family travels to Columbus for travel sports quite frequently, and we would definitely stay here again.
Stayed with family for cheer comp. 1st floor room— which was amazing. Room was clean and breakfast was good (ran out of forks so we ate with knives 😂). Overall excellent stay and already looking to book for March!
Sunday January the 12th 9 AM family breakfast in the lobby/ restaurant. Only few minutes in and our two years old bites his tongue and starts crying. A hotel staff approaches with straight face says word for word: your child is crying so you need to leave. My wife left her untouched food and took the little one to our suite while my 5 year old and I quickly swallowed a few bites and followed them. We were on the way to check out anyway but before we left I learned that the staff was the assistant general manager who informed me (while trying to apologize that he was on the phone and couldn't hear the other party well). I also learned from other staff that he doesn't have children and maybe doesn't have any friends with children. A few days later the general manager emailed me saying "sorry your stay didn't meat your expectations, I do have children and understand it is hard to get them to stop crying sometimes". The whole crying time was 2 minutes or 3 at most. The guy was so cold and very rude and only had few words to say, he was high up on the leadership team and the general manager backed him up. Moral of the story if you have children don't go to residence inn Polaris because they think it is ok to ask you to leave if they cry.…
Great Location walking distance from the Mall. Also a block away from Costco, Cabela's and other retail locations. So Many restaurants near by we had a hard time picking one. The Staff at this location was exceptional. The King Bed Suites were spacious and clean. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone
