Lauren, at the front desk, was fantastic!! Hotel is one block from riverfront park (great for walks and picnics), one block from Nationwide Arena and there are restaurants all around. Also, easy self-parking right there. Good open lobby spaces inside and outside (on their second-floor patio) to sit and talk. Always seemed to be someone in the lobby cleaning: wiping down surfaces, sanitizing...this hotel was super clean. Rooms all had mini-fridge and seemed bigger than typical Courtyard-brand rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
I was there for a leisure trip & came way early to checkin. Hannah was very nice to accommodate me & gave suggestions to local restaurants with timings. The hotel pool can be accessed via front desk with prior reservations, everyone was nice and warm.
The staff there is friendly and the hotel is clean, otherwise this would be a 1 star review. I have stayed there several times, and while it has always been overpriced, but ok, this visit was unacceptable to me. My 2 room, guaranteed reservation by credit card, was not honored, and my colleague was sent to a Red Roof Inn as the hotel was "overbooked". So be aware guaranteed may still mean you do not have a room there. The onsite restaurant was out of menu items both for dinner and breakfast, with the staff saying they did not order enough. My room this time was tiny and cramped, but they do have larger rooms. Still, I paid the same for this tiny room with a sink right at the door that had no counter space. It also has stairs up to the elevators, so be aware of that as there is no elevator there. I feel this property is overpriced, and you are required to valet park for $28 per day. I am very disheartened by this experience and no one from hotel management ever contacted myself or my colleague to explain why they did not have a room that they would have gladly charged my credit card for if we were a no show.…
The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast options are very limited - the hot breakfast options are disappointing. The parking is valet only (no self park) for $28.
The room itself was good and the staff was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there's no handicap ramp. So the elevator went out of service and we had to carry everything off the cart down the stairs. More importantly those who may have been wheelchair bound would have to be carried up and down the steps. The staff was accommodating because of this issue. Parking is either pay for street parking and have to move it in the morning or valet parking. Either way you pay. Not the most favorable parking depending on your circumstances. Valet wasn't always available when we tried to retrieve our vehicle.
