Very nice staff and very nice and clean rooms. The breakfast was very good. A lot of options compared to other hotels. The rooms are very nice and spacious and clean! The best part is how the staff treated me. I felt welcome!
Very polite and courteous staff, especially Paval! He was great with getting our family checked in when we needed it most. Though the towels and bed were clean, the room was not. Opened dry pet food was scattered about in the closet of one of the rooms, the dining area had crumbs and food stuff on the chairs, dry raisins throughout living area, odorous couch, used utensils under couch, and a crusty yellowish substance on the microwave plate. We didn’t have inform the front desk because we were told there will be no house cleaning during COVID, so we cleaned and sterilized where we could.
There is a train track adjacent to the hotel. Trains ran all night long sounding like it was in the room. The poor girl at the front desk broke down crying because she has to deal with tired and irate guests. I would suggest sleeping under a bridge as opposed to staying at this dump. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I told the owners I was going to post this and they didn’t care. Show them the same respect
entering our 2 bedroom suite there was a terrible smell. There was old food and garbage under the sink. Front desk came up to remove and spray. Rooms were never cleaned not towels or coffee replinished in the 4 days we were there. Front desk (who tried their best to be accommodating)said it was due to covid. We have stayed at other hotels since covid and the rooms were cleaned. The ice machine was out of order the entire time we were there.the tv remote did not work. The second day we returned to our room, there were dirty linens strewn in front of rooms just laying I hallway. Food drippings on carpeting. Could not use the pool because there was a group staying who ate around the pool in the evening leaving their immense amount of trash which still had not been cleaned up by 9:39 the next morning. Flies and bees everywhere. In 4 days time the manager was never there and we were told she "hardly ever shows". We have stayed at this property many times when it was Residence Inn. We will not ever stay here again. …
In July 2020, we booked at room at this hotel (Best Western Plus Executive Residency) expressly because they had a two bedroom suite. When we arrived, they gave us room keys, but there was already someone in the room (and our keys worked). Back at the front desk, they said they were now out of two bedroom suites, and since it was late, we took two single rooms. The woman at the front desk argued with us that "reservations don't matter anyway" (but I bet if we hadn't showed up at all, we would have been charged). Next morning, same woman at desk told us there would be no charge (which we appreciated) but refused to give me a receipt showing that. I took her at her word, but this month's credit card statement shows they charged us. We have called and emailed the General Manager repeatedly, with no reply. I have also contacted the Best Western corporate office, and no response. My next step is to dispute the credit card charge. Not impressed at all. Will not stay here or any Best Western unless I get the charge removed.…
