I had not stayed at a Cambria Suites before and I was very pleased. There was a pleasant sitting area with its own TV and a desk for my computer. I especially liked the bathroom feature of the motion-sensor -- no fumbling for a switch. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
As a Manager of another Choice Property in Cleveland Ohio, it is ALWAYS a pleasure to visit other properties and receive outstanding service. I simply love to lay out of this property and will surely stay here again when I am in the Columbus area. Great Stay !!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I stayed there the end of August. We have stayed here at least once a year, for several years... we were VERY disappointed in the condition of the hotel lately. The front desk clerk that checked us in on Wednesday was incredibly rude and acted like we were a bother to him... the elevator was filthy, with smeared handprints all over.. the bed sank SO deeply in the center, and the shower has stains in all the corners. Broken shelves in the shower as well. When we checked out on FRIDAY, the smears in the elevator were STILL there.. so much for extra covid cleaning! The desk clerk on the way out was the only nice thing about it...I think we will be staying somewhere else in our future visits.
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon approximately 30 minutes before check-in at 3 pm. The person at the desk said they were still cleaning and we would have to wait. We waited about 15 minutes. We went to our room and relaxed for a bit before leaving for a wedding. We came back after the wedding and we noticed a bench in the room that was dirty. The accommodations were nice enough. We liked the shower. The bed was ok but there was not much room on one side of the bed. When my husband looked at the floor by his side he saw a sock that was not ours. He also saw a large fingernail. We also saw some type of confetti. In normal times I would not have been happy about this. And now with this Covid-19 stuff going on it made me more upset. I took pictures and showed the man when we checked out. He apologized and told us he would tell his general manager. That’s great and all but I thought there would be more response about this. We won’t stay here again. Just not happy.…
I liked the lobby, entrance area. I quickly saw that it was 'a cut above.' It has a classy feel; my suite was spacious and really nice. Comfortable bedding as well. Fast Wi-Fi. Also, if you like to eat in the hotel and not have to go out, they have a decent restaurant in the lobby area with some nice options throughout the day; a little pricey but nice. Be ready to pay for breakfast, though. The breakfast is similar to other Choice Hotels, but costs $8.55 with tax instead of a complimentary breakfast. The only other frustratiion I had was that they do not have any coffee in the evening, so you have to drive somewhere to a coffee shop; not the convenience I was expecting. Otherwise, I recommend this Hotel; very nice.
