This place was close to where I need to meet my driver in the morning, so I chose it through a discount app. The check-in was easy enough through the night window and my room was upstairs without an elevator. The bed was comfortable and everything worked well.. I guess the cost for Columbus was low , I guess and they had a continental breakfast.
It was awful. The AC made a terrible racket. I didn’t get one good night’s sleep. The dumpsters were right under my room and there was no lid. The stench wafted through my room all night. The breakfast was pitiful and there was a swarm of flies circling the juice machine.
A $70 dollar room that was recently remodeled. Outside still dated and lobby is also. For the price I give it 4 stars. Great restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast is not worth it do ho out instead
It was wonderful place in the center of the city. Nice restaurant walking distance. The hotel staff outstanding and the place is neat. Night life is just walking distance live music very vibrant. Art museum is nearby too. Very convenient place.
Our group of golfers visits Columbus annually in the fall for an extended weekend of golf and OSU football. We have stayed at the German Village Inn for more than 10 years. The motel and surrounding German Village area have both been upgraded significantly in the last decade. Motel has large, clean rooms and is very affordable. Restaurants and bars in the area make it an attractive and convenient place to stay. It suits us perfectly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a solid alternative to high priced hotels located in Columbus.
