We travel often and expected more for our total bill of $700 for 2 nights. We had a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom kitchen suite. There was blood on the white shower curtain that was gross, fire damage on the wall from cooking, no fire extinguisher even when a sign was posted for it, 1 of of the 2 room phones were broken, food wrappers under our bed, light over stove did not work, kitchen was advertised as having pots and pans- we had to ask for a pot- there were no pots or pans. There were no garbage cans in either bathroom. So very disappointed. It was filthy. Never will we stay there again.
We stayed here for my daughter to go to Cleveland Clinic. I had booked a mobility accessible room but when we got to the room, there was a rise to get into the bathroom and my daughter couldn't get in with wheelchair. I went back downstairs to see why the room was not wheelchair accessible as I had booked. Brittany promised to take care of it and by the time I parked our car and got back to the room, my daughter and granddaughter had been moved to a more accessible room. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Convenient to restaurants for dinner. Grab and go breakfast adequate. Brittany and Nancy made our stay as enjoyable as it could possibly be.
We were in Cleveland for a weekend wedding. We opted to stay at the 527 Prospect location because it was close to the venue. I booked 4 rooms for my family & we were all disappointed. My in-laws had black fuzz balls on their towels & linen. The bed sheets were covered in them. There were other signs of uncleanliness so they requested a different room. The couch in their new room was completely flat, no spring action...really should be replaced. And there were other inconsistencies related to housekeeping as well. The other 3 rooms were missing one or the other: soap/toiletries in the bathrooms, paper towels & dishwashing liquid was not provided (or half used) in the kitchen. We actually had to go get our soap because they had no one available to bring it. We did not have any linen for the sofa sleeper. The rooms had either 1 garbage can or none. And in one room there was trash still in the can. The toilet in our room did not flush properly and the clock did not work correctly. Also, the front desk could not offer any dining suggestions or could not even tell us where the nearest Starbucks was located. My husband was a former employee of Marriott & he is aware of the high standards that they adhere to; which is why it is our favorite place to stay at. This was our worst visit ever. I post when we have great stays & sadly this is my 1st post about a disappointing one.…
Ursula welcomed me and others guests to the residence in with, class, efficiency, friendliness plus she validates your status in their membership program. Great location, friendly mid Atlantic people with excellent places to eat around. They are great applying all to fight the COVID19. If unable to travel abroad let’s re discovered our treasures
We stayed one night before the new year on our way to Chicago. The location is perfect, right in downtown but the room is a bit old and not cleaned throughly. We found a ketchup wrapper and a hair tie back inside the sofa bed. The sofa bed is impossible to sleep in, the mattress is so old that not only you feel the wires, you also hear it the moment you move. The regular king size bed is fine and comfortable. Staff is nice and courteous. If you do not need the sofa bed, it is ok to stay at this hotel. Overall average.
