Had a one night stay visiting the Amish area while over from England. Probably the most restful hotel I have stayed in. The manager was excellent and the service could not be faulted. I heartily recommend the breakfast I could have gone round twice. The wine is light, refreshing and very drinkable. If I am ever in the area again... More

We had a great time. Beautiful setting, clean comfortable rooms and great wine. We will stay here again this fall. The décor was dated but clean. We loved being out with the horses roaming around and loved all the outdoor seating areas.

I stayed at the Guggisberg Swiss Inn this past Sunday night, as my son was heading to a local sleep away camp on Monday morning. This is the second time we have stayed here, and loved it just as much this visit as before. This stay the inn offered a wiener roast for dinner. Though a simple dinner of hot... More

This place sits back off of 557 so it is quiet and has beautiful scenery. While the furnishings and decor are not high-end, it was clean. The beds were not queen (cramped with 2 people in the bed) and mattresses were not comfortable (too soft and squishy). Breakfast was nice and breakfast room had an amazing view. Staff was very... From the pictures and other reviews, I was really looking forward to staying here. I was surprised to realize that the Guggisberg Inn is a motel with a fancy lobby and breakfast room overlooking the beautiful inn grounds. Nowhere in the literature or pictures did I read or see that each room had an outside entrance. I was especially disturbed... More

Guggisberg Swiss in is a great choice when staying in Amish Country. The Inn is extraordinarily clean and, while furnishings are not "high end," everything is charming and the property is very serene. We stayed the night before dropping children off at a local camp and found that many other families were there for the same reason, giving the children... More

This is a wonderful place to stay and a wonderful palce for children to run and play. Most children love feeding the ducks and they have a food machine in the yard. Bring quarters! Beautiful pond, Ducks, etc., and you can arrange for horse back rides in the beautiful hills of the Amish country. Their wine has won awards and... More

The view from the hiltop, the clip-clop of hooves in the distance contribute to a relaxing place to stay. Rooms are clean and tastefully appointed. From a hot breakfast in the morning to wine tasting and shacks in the evening and a friendlystaff contribute to fond memories and a place to return.

My husband likes to surprise me for my birthday with trips to unknown destinations. It's always fun, but this was just tremendous! He knows me well, and the idea of horses, ducks, bunnies etc roaming freely along with being away from the always present noises of industrial civilization made our stay a delight! The decor is indeed a bit dated,... More

This is a great place to stay. We have been there several times and will stay there again. There are snacks in the evening, wine tasting, and a delicious breakfast. We loved the country setting. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
