I'll try to be brief: The man at the reception felt demonstratively disturbed by the fact that I wanted to check in. In the first assigned room, the smoke detector battery was at the end, so the detector beeped every 2nd minute. Back to the reception, he was turning his eyes, next room: When I entered, it was immediately clear that someone was already living there. Could have been very unpleasant. Back to the reception again. The third room at first looked okay. But: The toggle switch for the light at the sink was broken out and therefore no light for shaving. There was no light bulb in the floor lamp. The bed linen was clean and the towels freshly washed. Since I was very tired, I did not try a fourth room. Many room doors in the motel complex showed signs of burglary, so I always took my computer and other valuables with me when I was out. It looks like the motel just changed owner - it is no longer called "Supper 8 Beachwood" but "Beachwood Inn". The new owner seems to renovate the motel while still renting rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and well cleaned. Great value and price for the area. The area is on the outskirts of Cleveland and is very safe to stay at. I would recommend this hotel even to traveling family!

Will NEVER stay here again, BED BUGS, dirty and rundown, window cracked in guest room, place was nothing like the last time we stayed here, not a good feeling, desk did not dispute the bed bug claim,did not want to refund my money, saying he had to wait on the manager, who wouldn't be in until the next day, advised him to issue my refund, since I checked in and out in less than an hour. NEVER AGAIN !!! Dump.

This former Super 8 motel is now the Beachwood Inn. The rebranding did not appear to add value or quality. This is a truly tired property, much in need of a major refresh. It's only competitive value is that it is the least expensive hotel/motel that is adjacent to a number of upscale office parks in Beachwood, Oh. For business travel, this place is terrible. Power sockets for computers and phones are behind the dated furniture. The power sockets themselves in my room (#172) looked as if they might be easily pulled from the wall when unplugging a phone cord or computer power cable. RECOMMENATION: spend the extra $10 and select some of the other lower cost hotels on the same street.

All was good sty at this location frequently when in town to do business clean and comfortable rooms, and so far over the years have not had any real problems that needed addressed or would cause me to seek other accommodations.
