This caravan park is a little old, but well maintained. Ammenities are spotless. Pool is lovely and clean, although a small shade sail would be a great addition. There is not a great deal of shade which is a shame. But overall, a nice place to stay.

We visited at the hottest time of the year, and I suspect it was not intended to be viewed then. The walk through the 10 stations of the oil discovery and industry set backs were interesting. Quite dated, as most school children have access to the internet and understand how oil is created, and found. There is a train and...

Hi There - I think you were supposed to be reviewing the BIG RIG, rather than the Big Rig Tourist Park - We are the Caravan park that is opposite the BIG RIG. However, we are pleased that you enjoyed your time visiting a local landmark of Roma.

This park has good grass or slab sites. The grounds are good & there is a variety of cabins available. There is a swimming pool.A lot of maintenance is needed on the amenities block though.Close to the Big Rig & Info Center.

We stayed here with 4 people in one of their cabins. The cabin was clean as was the toilet block for all other campers, great pool and central community BBQ/camp kitchen area. I would recommend staying.

Will never go back to this park. Had the dirtiest site in the park, and sadly it rained heavily over night. We got up to a giant mud puddle, right at our door. Amenities VERY run down, doors on toilet cubicles too big for cubicle, and no room to move in or out when door open. Would not recommend this...

Stayed there recently for 2 nights and have to say it did not I've up to expectations. The website photography does not depict the reality. Amenities were old and tired badly in need of refurbishment. They were adequate but only just. Sites were small and parking difficult. Greatest benefit was that it was close to town and within easy walking...

Thankyou for your response. I am a little perplexed to hear that the website photos do not depict the reality as the photos as far as I can see, they are true to form. We do of course take on board comments made from our guests and so we thank you for these.

We do not tow. We are purely cabin, roadhouse, donga type people. We have now done four major trips in and around Australia depending on this type of accommodation - and love it. The problem is caravan parks are consistently increasing prices of cabins while the quality of such is falling. Many are "tired", "dirty" and often lack inclusions. The...

Booked the day before and remarked that we wanted to get away early, when we arrived Tim at reception was very friendly and helpful and after booking in he guided me to a site where we could remain hooked up and get away early which was really appreciated. The park was nice and green which was a change from red...

Friendly receptionist who showed us our large site however amenities block was built before the ark and Noah would have recognised it immediately as it doesn't look like it has been upgraded since, hence after first inspection we did not use them. Overpriced park and only good point was the size of sites and easy access.
