We stayed at Silky Oaks Lodge for 3 days to celebrate a birthday. We visited the Spa each day for a lovely massage - most relaxing. One day we organized a picnic lunch and headed down to the river - what a great spot!! This is a complete getaway - no televisions in the rooms/villas. The restaurant/ main building is...

Stayed at Silky Oaks for 3 days recently and really enjoyed this complete transformation of scenery , rooms and level of service. We loved the rooms that were well equipped and enjoying the tree top views. Sounds of wildlife and canopy of the forest just makes it unique, and the balcony hammock just made the whole thing serene especially with...

My husband and I stayed at Silky Oaks for three nights at the end of our honeymoon. We'd spent the previous two weeks travelling up the Australian east coast in a camper van so we were very much looking forward to a bit of luxury! Thankfully, it did not disappoint. We stayed in a Daintree Treehouse right at the far...

After a morning at Mossman Gorge my friend and I drove to this place. Only the way we rang to see if they were ok for is to have lunch. They were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived the staff even mentioned that they were expecting is. The view of the water through the trees was so calming and...

On arrival you were made so welcome by the friendly staff. The calm, quiet and relaxing atmosphere here is wonderful. Our treehouse room was spacious and beautifully presented. You wake to hear birdsong and admire the rainforest from your room. Swimming in the river and the pool was a delight after a day out. The food was amazing and the...

Silky oaks was a fantastic place to visit. The tree houses where remote and you felt like you were in the middle of a rain forest. The sounds around you included the rippling water and Kookaburro. I would go back in a minute. The restaurant was good but not great. Breakfast was a treat!

We stayed in a deluxe treehouse absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, we had deep tissue massages which were the best we both have had.. Dinner and...

We had a beautiful lunch here today. The restaurant was 30% full so we got a table on the edge of the balcony with lovely views of the river below. We had to spray insect repellent on because the river is slow moving. The service was good. Food was worth the luxury price tag. The staff were great. Come for...
