We stayed here for one night in a double ensuite on our way from Townsville to Cairns. We had pick up from the Greyhound bus stop which was great and were able to check in at ~11am. The hostel is very chilled out, right next to the beach and has great facilities. The room was quite small but had AC...

There are not many hostels where staff will immediately make you feel at home, but Scotty's is certainly one of them. I'd like to say thanks to the extremely friendly and helpful staff, and I've enjoyed every minute of my stay in the lovely, colourful rooms (stayed in a double) that are set around the great pool. If you're traveling...

We stayed in a twin room with en suite which was clean and tidy. Mission Beach is a stunning spot - if you're...

Stayed for the one night, and welcomed with open arms. The dorm rooms are ok and place looks like a old school holiday camp. But don't let fool you. Was asked if wanted to join them for meal at the bistro, which was excellent. Entered into the quiz, where we won money for beer. Its a place if you want...

Would have liked to stay there longer. The room I stayed in was very spacious and had its own bathroom and was very clean. Kitchen also was big and very...

We were travelling as a family of 4 with grown/teenage children and were made very welcome. We had a 4-bed dorm to ourselves which was clean and well maintained, tea and coffee were freely available, the kitchen was clean and tidy and everything worked and whenever we asked the staff for local advice they bent over backwards to ensure we...
