My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights. Basic hostel with 4 bed dorms and free breakfast. The staff were friendly but didn't do much to keep people quiet at night despite the numerous signs posted on the walls telling people to be silent after 10pm. The hostel was mostly young backpackers staying long term. Some had little consideration...

We forgot to book for the Australia Day Weekend up at Maroochydore and the only accommodation left was the Backpackers Hostel. We thought why not and so booked the Deluxe Double Room at an incredible low price to what we would normally pay. We went expecting it to be like a camping trip, having never stayed in a Backpackers before,...

We generally stay 4-5 star. But being only in our rooms to basically sleep, we chose to stay at a hostel as it was only myself and my husband. Rooms were basic, double bed & tv & bedside tables..as well as electricity points.. No fans, but we had a corner room so we had two sets of windows and the...

Stayed in a single room for two nights. The room itself was fine; clean with a TV and nicely made comfortable bed. The communal bathroom was pretty gross (toilet okay but showers disgusting) and I didn't use the kitchen but it didn't look very appealing. You have to walk outside to access the bathrooms, thankfully my room was close to...

I wrote this review in the excellent section so people don't get fooled into believing these other reviews are true! It is the manager or staff writting these, it is not possible for someone to think great things of the awful place it should be closed down, there is no clean towels as they state just dirty ones on the...

Our first room was pitch black with 2 long term girls staying there make up everywhere and there clothes all over our supposed bunks plus underwear drying in the room, basically we couldnt move or even put our bags down! We asked to move so the girl put us in...

Although I had a great time staying here because of the awesome people I met, the owner is the most awful man I have ever come across. Rude, aggressive, childish and spiteful. He obviously hates his job and makes no secret of the fact that he doesn't like backpackers. He often reminds people that he is 'doing them a favour'...

Coming straight from Brisbane YHA, I wasnt sure what to expect from this place but was still dissapointed. Obviously a workers hostel, great if your looking for back breaking Strawberry picking work but avoid it if your just travelling through. A good 30 minute walk to any civilisation....bathroom pretty grotty and my 4 bed room was dark and cramped. On...

Hello, my name is Janine. I am from Germany. This is the first time that I write a review. But I think, everybody should know how beautiful this hostel is. It is a little bit like a secret place which everybody should visit when he is in Australia. I had the possibility to stay there for four weeks. It was...

Very relaxed atmosphere and the building is pretty cool. Rooms and facilities were clean. The staff was extremly helpful and friendly, the free shuttle bus is pretty cool as well. Its perfect for a night or two on your way to noosa. There are a lot of activities that keep you entertained, so you won't get bored even though there...
