This is great budget accommodation! We really enjoyed our 12 night stay over Christmas/New Year 2016-2017! Beautiful views, very peaceful and central to all of the highlights of the Tablelands. The room included basic cooking facilities, fan, ensuite, verandah, shared coin washing machine/clothesline and undercover parking. Friendly hosts, all good! Recommended!

I have just left here after a wonderful 3 night stay. The hotel was perfectly situated for exploring the tablelands (if you have a car). Our room was huge compared to others for the same price, the bed was comfy, there was a flat screen tv, kettle, hob, microwave and grill (inside our room so no battling for space to...

I avoid the bright lights and this was an ideal bucolic location at an excellent price. At that price the edges are rough so if you usually go upmarket perhaps best you stay elsewhere. Rooms include basic kitchenette and laundry. It is near Lake Eacham; a must see in my opinion. But, and big but, when I was there my...

Glad you liked the area, rooms and price. Unfortunately with it being a rural location mice infrequently move through the whole area. Usually its only for one or two weeks a year during the coldest part of the year. It seems two got into the room with the door being left open on the last night of your stay. If...

Great for a short term stay but not long term. I had to supply my own towels (he was worried I get the red dirt on his & stain it & I'd have to pay for a new one so I gave it back to him). I didn't get a bathmat. There is no smoke alarm - someone placed it above...

Totally false..Let janice stay as she was evicted from another property. Everything is supplied including linen. towels and cutlery. Brooms a mop and bucket and a washing machine are also shared between the units. She obviously didn't bother to look. Toilet paper, detergent etc is supplied for tourists and short term stays . Long term tenants or workers at the...

Mornings are refreshingly cool, days warm and sunny. The spring time has brought on many different flowers in bloom in the well manicured gardens. With the flowers in bloom, the lorikeets are in abundance, as are the brolgas which can be viewed in the neighbouring paddock in large groups. It is such a pleasant feeling to awaken to the sounds...

What an amazing place to relax and unwind. I think of it as a retreat. Peaceful surrounds. Abundant bird life. A great little starting point to visit many of the beautiful places of interest on the Tablelands. Will be visiting Dunkley's Place again and again. A perfect weekend escape.

Nicely positioned close to town and most of the 17 waterfalls on the tablelands.Very clean and tidy, great host (wayne). Overlooks undulating green pastures, short drive to lake eacham for a swim or walk. Many bush walks in nature. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work.
