After researching places to stay that offered the extra bit, this place according to the website, appeared to offer the lot. However, in reality this was far from the case. We opted for the expensive room with the spa on the balcony and was led to believe there was privacy. I wouldn't like to use this during the day or...

The experience I had was amazing. I realized just how unimportant I was by going and surviving the region. I went rafting and fell out of the raft and nearly drowned. Next the Mosquitos in the Eco lodge are serious business. Wear bug spray for sure. It is a great place to go relax at the end of your trip...

This hotel is way too over priced for what it promises. Rooms and facilities are very dated and in desperate need of serious renovation. Readily evident was the rusty fixtures, rotting internal timber, cracking tiles devoid of grouting and insect screens with multiple patches on the tears. Having a shower was a nightmare as you had two choices of temperature...

Stopped here for morning tea. Passable tea (a pot with bags, but that ok for FNQ) and coffee and good scones in a great setting. Staff friendly. Bit of wildlife in and around the pond - we were happy and on our way

This hotel is in need of some serious upgrades if they're going to continue to charge these rates. The rooms are dated and faded. The beds are uneven and uncomfortable. The majority of the resort appears dilapidated, areas of the boardwalks are rotting and termite eaten- this level of degradation would be condemned by any building inspector as a hazard...

Sorry to hear of your recently disappointing experience ErinandAlex3013. Your points are valid and we are aware of the condition of some parts of the property. But rest assured no parts were close to condemmed in a recent engineers report. Having recently purchased the property we are excited about its potential and to unlock this, we have planned substantial renovations...

So we travel a lot and have been to Belize , and Costa Rica among other rain forest destinations. Daintree Eco is right off the road, and though it's in the rain forest if you are expecting to be bathed in forest, and lost in nature you will be disappointed. For that I suggest you cross the Daintree River north...

My mother (late 60s) and I (30s) stayed here as part of our trip down under. Definitely our least favorite resort by far. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible; it just wasn't great. The rooms are nice, albeit fairly rustic but you're in the rainforest after all. The food at the restaurant was outrageously expensive for what it was....

We stayed here one evening while visiting the Daintree Rainforest, and I genuinely wish we had stayed longer! Everything about the visit was excellent. The experience of staying in a rainforest was incredible, as I feel asleep hearing the birds calling and the wind going through the trees. (Luckily, the mosquito nets assure that bug bites will NOT be a...

We treated ourselves to one night here because it is very pricey! But we were so glad we did it - we went for a spa bayan, which we would definitely recommend. The bayan is beautiful, with a canopied bed and Eco Lodge spa products in the bathroom, dressing gowns etc. The bedroom opens out onto the balcony, which includes...

Normal price is quiet steep, but on special its fantastic value. We had 2 nights in our own Spa Cabin, tucked away in the Rainforest. Very private feeling in the actual cabins, they are not exposed to each other. Breakfast included (which is amazing). Nice area, typical Daintree flair. Staff was helpful and friendly. The Restaurant food is AWESOME, try the...
