Stayed there in the camp grounds and it was very enjoyable to just set up the camp in the shady sites. It was such a simple process from start to finish, well priced sites and adequate facilities. Great location and a view well worth the trip.

Exuding country, nature, warmth, authenticity and great personal service; Daintree River View Lodges has got to be your abode at Daintree Village. They also welcome campers at 10AUD a night. My husband and I love it here so much that our hearts irk that we only have a night to enjoy this beautiful place. Huge shared veranda, kitchen and barbecue...

We were lucky to have found a spot on this campground last minute in peak season, but it was not the best we have had in Australia. The site we had was small (upstairs), although big enough for our camper van. The amenities were fine with nice hot showers, and the hosts were friendly. We visited Daintree to go bush...

This is the only camp site in Daintree village so there's no competition and it shows. We were given a small powered site which initially seemed OK though it had no shrubs to screen you from your neighbours. But by the end of the day the camp ground had filled to capacity with very little room or privacy between sites....

Last minute decision to come here, so glad we did. Love it, love it, love it. Small but tidy place. Ammenities are okay. Bottom level a little damp but not worth complaining about. People complain about having to go up the stairs to the ammenities - Get Over It - if you are able to leave a negative msg on...

For a very reasonable $15 per person we had a lovely grassy site with power. The amenities block is well maintained with both hand soap and paper towels available. During the winter months it pays to book ahead as the place fills quickly.

We stayed in one of the Lodge rooms - very comfortable, nice hot shower. And what a lovely view of the river from the verandah and the open kitchen. Comfortable chairs to sit and watch the river go by from up on the hill. Friendly staff, great atmosphere :)

Arrived at a rainsoaked Daintree and chacked into lower campsite at $10 per night. With the rain bucketting down i made the best decision of the trip and took a double room at the lodge. Hreat facilities and a big wide verandah from which to watch the falling rain. Simple, comfortable rooms with fridge, air con and a ceiling fan...

There's no better accommodation in Daintree Village or nearby. We had a comfy twin room with aircon and ensuite bathroom for $130 per night. The room opened on to an enormous DRY verandah with very homely kitchen and dining settings, overlooking the Daintree River in all its moods and beauty. We never tired of the view. Immediately below is the...
