On the crest of a winding eucalyptus lined road just 2 kms off the Bruce Highway “Cudgerie Homestead” is a gracious, old, beautiful Queenslander. Our room, with a modern ensuite, had French doors with a sweeping view of rolling hills. We slept in sumptuous beds with fresh linen. In the morning we heard currawongs, magpies, kookaburras and the distinctive call...

Set atop a marvellous ridge west of the Highway north from Brisbane, the original and quaint Homestead has history in the Region. Urban sprawl has engulfed what would have initially been a majestic Homestead. It still provides a quiet and private retreat set amongst natural bushland to peer out towards the Noosa coastline, you could imagine times gone buy. The...

We stayed in this B&B because our campervan had crashed. It turned out to be a lucky turn of events. The house is located in a beautiful area we wouldn't normally have visited and the house itself is lovely and really feels like a home. The host is really great and even brought us to the city to get us...

We spent 2 days here as part of our holiday tour from Brisbane to Hervey Bay. The place is in a very quiet area - we loved it. Steve is a great host and the breakfast he makes is amazing. Most important for us: the rooms at Cudgerie are very clean. We were sorry we did not get a chance...

Just spent a couple of relaxing days at Cudgerie Homestead. Steve was a perfect host. Even our 2 dogs took to him immediately. Very comfortable rooms and a great breakfast each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

i was greeted by the host Steve after a long drive with a lovely cup of tea sitting on the verandah enjoying the view. My room felt homey and bed was comfortable. Enjoyed a morning swim in the infinity pool following a generous bowl of fresh fruit and Bircher muesli with toast and honey.

The best away from home bed we have ever had.Great breakfasts. Quiet but only a short drive to town. Good bush walks very handy to the house. And our host Steve was so interesting and knowledgable on the local fauna. David Attenborough with an american accent and a quirky sense of humour. We really loved our stay.

Pam and i spent 6 nights at this great piece of paradise in August 2016 Our host Steve, was the ultimate host and was always going out of his way to spoil us continuously and relentlessly and which we both appreciated He even reprimanded me for taking my used breakfast dishes back to the kitchen, stating. Robert. I am here...

“We had the room that overlooked the back of the proprty, near the pool. It was so quiet, no noise from the other guests. The room was a decent size with a HUGE bathroom with loads of storage. Plantation shutters and aircon make this room great.”
