My first time in Blackall and first time meeting Ozzie. She is the best host you could imagine, felt like part of the family as soon as I got in. Fixed us up with dinner helped with our washing and went out of her way to make sure we had absolutely everything. The rooms are neat and very well kept....

After a very long drive, we pulled into the Acacia for an overnight stay. Firstly, the reception was closed (about 1pm) and a hand written sign said they were in the cafe next door. Fine we thought and I went in and asked about a room. The lady told me to go back around and meet her at reception. The...

I last stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and at the time, the owner advised me that the restaurant was closed as she had just lost her chef. So no dinner at the hotel and no breakfast either. Here I am again and still no dinner or breakfast. If you want to eat in the morning you have to...

If you want to be treated to true friendly service with a bit of style then Ozzie at the Acacia is who you need to meet. This lady gives you a great overview of the services provided without being pushy. Makes me want to go back to Blackall

Best place in town. Great hospitality and super friendly. Water takes some getting used to though. Bit smelly due to the sulphur but it comes straight from the underground springs! Rooms are spacious and beds are easily slept on after a long day. Pubs in town are homely and welcoming.
