My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and were amazed at the amount of wildlife we saw in just 2 days. As soon as we arrived there was birds waiting to be fed. At night the possums were on the balcony also looking for a bit of food. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

We stayed in one of the Treehouses at the end and therefore were very quiet and secluded which is exactly what we wanted. We were visited by all of the locals including all the bird life, possums and bush turkeys. We went to feed the turtles a couple of times and we were thrilled with these close encounters. We were...

Beautiful spot in the midst of a rain-forest and you almost don't need to leave your room and balcony to enjoy the bird life and wildlife, possums come at night to enjoy your meal and during the day, a myriad of parrots, cat-birds, rifle birds etc. will perch on the verandah looking for a handout. Only a few feet to...

From the moment we arrived down the long driveway and into David's home we felt very calm and relaxed. David is very informative when you arrive and then allows total privacy. There are 5 cabins perched up it the tree canopy and all spaced well apart. We stayed on an end cabin 'Echidna' so we had full privacy down our...

We travelled around Australia for a month and this was definitely our favourite place of all. The treehouses are luxurious, with fluffy robes and a spa bath. They are spacious...the kids slept in the loft and we had our own room. They are self-catering, allowing us to be self-sufficient...a well-equipped kitchen, bbq on the balcony and washing machine with dryer....

We had an absolutely fantastic time in the rainforest staying in a extremely well maintained treehouse. This was part of a tour of Australia with our Australian family. They had not stayed in the area before and they were delighted they came with us. It was fabulous to see the wildlife on your doorstep each morning and evening. This literally...

The treehouses are set in a small patch of virgin rainforest that survived decades of government regulation requiring all land to be cleared for farming due to ill health and marriage breakdown of the owner. The buildings are delightful log cabins on stilts with wood burning stoves for heat in the winter and fluffy bathrobes to relax in after a...

When I was researching a place to stay outside of Cairns I found there were actually two treehouse resorts. This one was by far more kid friendly so I booked it. I was so glad I did. First, this resort is located in the Tablelands, while the other is in the Daintree. The areas are completely different and what many...

This little piece of heaven is amazing from the minute we arrived. The tree house are beautifully perched in the forest canopy to maximise bird viewing bad mammal visits. Have seen some posts suggesting it is not luxury; no it's not a sun and surf resort but rather a luxurious hideaway for a thoroughly relaxing break. We found all the...

Though well-appointed with lots of little touches, the lodgings are more about the location and the ever-present fauna than absolute luxury. But that is the way that it should be given where this is. So, if you are prepared for a little mud now and then as well as dealing with the remnants of various visits, then this is the...
