What great place to stay. All the staff from reception, bar and dining were very welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are large with comfy beds. They great selection of pub grub, just make sure you book a table. Plenty of room to relax away from the bar as well. The place is a little run down and lacks wifi and...

Haven't stayed for 19 years. Happy to see it hasn't changed too much. Bathrooms upgraded, beds good, exceptionally clean. We especially enjoyed the open fireplace each night in the guest lounge. Felt at home and comfortable. Good heating. Ok,, the furniture may be a bit mismatched and worn and not true to era, but it adds to the charm not...

We are saying in town for a few days and decided to eat here last night. The waitress was a little rude about seating us but I thought that was because we were walk ins. I knew she was rude in the way she pointed us at the bar as if we were stupid for not knowing our way around....

Stayed for the weekend and loved it. The whole weekend was stunning. Bundanoon Hotel was an old hotel with lots of character, the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I have to complain about is no Wi-Fi and no TV in the rooms... come on bundanoon hotel. .. it's 2016... For the amount of money we paid... I...

The Hotel does have free Wi-Fi available to houseguests. There are no TV's in the rooms as we have surveyed many houseguests over the years and they all stated that the reason they come to the Hotel is to enjoy the atmosphere, not to watch TV. There are two Guest Lounges with large screen TV's available for the use of...

From the outside, the Bundanoon Hotel looks warm and inviting - the kind of place that offers hearty, home-style cooked meals with good old fashioned country hospitality. Looks can be deceiving. On stepping into the dinning room with its Scottish inspired décor, I thought it safe to assume that there would be meals 'from the old country', with an excellent...

In reply to your comments, we have 8 well recognised single malt whiskeys, 8 beers on tap, at least 20 local and imported beers in packaged form and an extensive wine list comprising of local and national brands. Our menu is not designed to be "Scottish", it is designed to be modern with appeal to a greater demographic, using fresh,...

A hotel that used to be a hive of activity in Bundanoon, and still in fairly good condition. There are ensuite rooms and rooms with wash basin with shared bathroom facilities. It is a big brick attractive looking hotel with lots of rooms, but patronage has obviously dropped off in these modern times. I occupied a spacious ensuite room. Nicely...

Book here... jump at this chance. This hotel has 51 tooms and is huge. Like a Scotish castle. Long term is only 200 pw. Pool hall, huge loungerooms and boosts a great country reaturant. Very very clean rooms. 30 sec walk to train or bus.

We stayed overnight in January. The hotel is a mix of comfortable and a bit tired. We came in from the unpaved car park and walked up the narrow, dark steps to check in. Not a great first impression, but the reception was friendly and we were quickly booked in. Our King room was clean and pleasant. The bathroom had...

...Love everything about this place. Steeped in history, and not afraid to let her age show. ...Pool surrounded by lovely cool climate garden...tennis court at the ready... and indoors, there's a full -size billiard table, adjacent to the coolest/cosiest guest lounge. David fixes a great hot brekky ... just the ticket for starting a day's exploration of all the area...

A wonderful experience. To see such old hotels still in existence and maintained so well was a real treat. I stayed there with my two young grandsons and intentionally selected a 'triple room with handbasin'. Once they got over the shock of not having an ensuite, the lads thought the idea of toilets/showers a few metres removed plus the many...
