Lucy and I have stayed in the self catering cottage (Gorsey Hayes) before, which we both enjoyed so much we came back. This time, however we tried the bed and breakfast room which did not dissapoint. The room was large and had a fabulous en-suite which was spotlessly clean and had a large power shower as well as corner bath...

A B & B is not usually our thing, but after hearing the reviews we decided to give it a go and we are glad we did. Our cottage was clean, private, quiet and very spacious. The hospitality provided by Jan and Glyn was exceptional and Jan's knowledge of the local area was quite outstanding. It was a nice change...

Just got back and wish we were still there. We were lucky enough to stay in Gorsey Hayes which was absolutely stunning and bags of space. We were welcomed by fresh scones, homemade jam, fresh eggs and milk in the fridge - perfect start to our stay. The accommodation was beautiful, and so peaceful and relaxing. It was also spotlessly...

What a gem! We were both born in Derbyshire but have lived our adult lives on the South Coast. So to spend time at Oldfield’s Farm Snelston Nr Ashbourne was a superb way to revisit our roots. Jan Grayson is a delightfully friendly hostess who, with her husband is the proud owner of this immaculate and much-loved home with both...

We stayed in Handel's Muse and had a very relaxing time. We enjoyed the escorted tour of the horses. An added bonus was the stimulating conversation over a lovely breakfast from the host family. Cottage immaculately clean; helpful walk and activity suggestions. A real winner!

We went to the b and b for our wedding night and wish that we could spend longer there. Luxury bedroom and lovely owners. They picked us up after the wedding and made us feel so welcome at their b and b. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Would definatly recommend to everyone! Surrounding area is lovely. :)

The 32 and counting ‘Excellent’ reviews to date are well deserved. Oldfields Farm offers a wonderful, quite possibly unique experience. Accommodation ranges from self catering, fully furnished and self contained outbuildings to the en-suite Farmhouse double room in which we stayed. Clean, comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. All the usual facilities expected of a quality hotel with the added advantage...
