We had a lovely week staying in the cottage, really nice interior and cosy when the log fire is on. Unfortunately we couldn't connect to the WiFi as they were having an issue with it but they tryed there best to resolve the issue but it still never worked and having no Internet access was a big issue for us.

A warm reception, incredibly inviting. Clean, beautiful home. Quirky details. Loved it!! Very private, gorgeous grounds, stunning weather.... we put up our paddling pool for the kids to splash in- they loved it! Really wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Gin Cottage with our 4 month old. We were welcomed by the friendly owner and despite a mix up with regards arrival time we found the cottage to be of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the nicest places we've stayed. Owls at night time can be heard, the hunt hounds...

Orchard cottage is really quaint and well presented. Great for dogs and humans alike. Location is spot on but sadly we never got the wifi working which is a prerequisite for us as we needed to be in touch with customers whilst away which proved impossible.

My wife and I, together with our 2 small dogs stayed in the apartment for 1 week from the 9th of September. We we very fortunate with the return of a heatwave which made our stay all the more pleasurable. The apartment is both well apportioned and comfortable with everything you could need during your stay. A filter coffee machine...

I stayed at this wonderful location for a 5 cycling holiday with my partner. We booked into Orchard Cottage which is a converted barn which sleeps two.The barn has been sensitively and beautifully adapted. It is compact but contains everything you need. It feels romantic and cosy warm and welcoming. Our host Melanie was very friendly and knowledgeable about the...

We have just returned from a lovely week at the apartment (sometimes called Garden View and Sometimes called Gooseberry View). The apartment itself is well equipped and perfectly spacious. The highlight (if you are lucky with the weather) is the terrace furnished with super comfy garden sofas from which you can relax and admire the views of the garden. It...

Had a lovely weeks break here at Orchard cottage. The cottage was much bigger than we expected but still cosy made even cosier with the lovely log burner. We had everything we needed and arrived to a nice welcome note, small pot of homemade jam and freshly picked flowers. Yes there's no phone signal (but there is a few steps...

Stayed in 'The Apartment' - A bit restrictive, especially for the dog as she always had to be kept on a leash due to the chickens roaming around, a shame as we booked specifically as it was "dog friendly". But as a getaway from a hectic lifestyle it was fantastic - no phone signal, so if you're looking to escape...

Unfortunately we have a number of users of the site - both animal (horses, chickens, dogs and lots of wildlife) and human and as we have had very traumatic experiences in our early days of running the business of customers' unleashed dogs killing our chickens. This is unpleasant for all concerned and very simply we have to impose this rule....

We have SO ENJOYED the beauty of the property and grounds. The peace and stillness we have found here is just what we needed to unwind. We were in desperate need for some away time to re-boot. The stunning surrounds, gave lots of space for our two children to roam and explore- we had brilliant games of hide and seek,...
