I would just like to say our stay at this hotel was absolutely great, should friendly staff, very helpful. We booked three rooms in the hotel, on arrival e were shown to the dungeon bedroom - which myself and husband slept in. Has I am only 4 ft 11 it was an art getting up on the bed...... But fun. Our next room was the Will scarlet - both our sons very satisfied with their room. The last bedroom was the Little John, originally booked another double but was given this room - very pleased indeed. Could not fault the rooms. Also the food at the hotel is high quality, would recommend - quote from my son "was the best fish he had ever tasted.

We have just visited this pub with our son and dog and stayed 2 nights. Lovely clean room, lovely home cooked food, lovely staff and great beer! Everyone followed Covid rules and parking was a bonus 😀 We will definitely go back. A perfect few days away with an amazing breakfast. Thank you for a great stay.

We came to stay for three nights and the service was poor at the breakfast table. We had to send back some dishes that were dirty as did some other tables. No word to apologize and there was a bum cleavage showing the whole time. Not the greatest view while you are eating to begin with.

Went in for a couple of pints with friends and walked out to a parking ticket county court claim for £275! Embarrassing. So many other reputable pubs and hotels nearby that won't rip you off. Shame on you. Grubby and doesn't look clean. So many better options.

We called on a weekday with our little doggie, as we know it’s a dog friendly pub. It was quiet, with few people inside , but that was fine with us. The barmaid/waitress was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home. We had superb sandwiches and the tuna mayonnaise was first class. Highly recommended when you’re in Hathersage.
